I turned back around as Mr. Wilder started class. ‘Did I do something wrong? She seems scared to talk to me.’

“No I don’t think you did. Maybe she just doesn’t really know how to interact with guys in the real world.” Snow commented as I looked up and down from my paper to the board to write down notes.

‘But she seemed so easy to get along with and talkative in the game.’ I said flipping pages.

“Hmmm…oh I know write her a note asking her to meet you somewhere so you can talk to her. Maybe if you explain that it’s you, well us from the game maybe something will click and she won’t seem so scared and uptight.” He explained.

That actually wasn’t that bad of an idea. If I could try to explain something to her. Of course I didn’t think that I would even see Candice again. Where do I even begin the note though? I pulled a piece of paper out of my note book and twirled my pencil in with my fingers as I tried to decide what to write.

Meet me on the roof for lunch kay? :D

“Really? That’s all ya got?” Snow sounded not very impressed be my letter.

‘I don’t want to sound like a psycho, or a creepy stalker.’ I responded frowning at the paper. ‘Well if you’re an expert at writing notes why don’t you do it?’

"Captain obvious, I can’t.” I sighed and didn’t realize how late in class was because the bell pulled me back into that I was actually in school.

I folded the note, closed my notebook and tossed the note on her desk then picked up my stuff and left the room. I forgot to get my book from Mr. Wilder, but I’ll go back during my study hall to get it.

Right now I had gym. Gym in the morning. I guess depending on how you look at it. If someone didn’t take a shower and had enough time they could take one here. On the other hand it could just tire you out for the rest of the day and make you stink. Meh; whatever; I haven’t played in gym in a long time. I had to stop at the school store first and get a pair of shorts and a spare shirt. I didn’t want to wear my clothes during class and I didn’t want to sit out. Besides it was my first day I was allowed to be a little late.

I walked in and the teacher was sitting in his rolling chair calling out the names of the students that were there. After he was done I walked up to him. “Hello. I’m new here.”

“Hey so what’s your name? I’m Mr. Right. Or you can call me Coach Right, whichever you want to call me.” He asked me.

“I’m Skyler Kresnik.” I told him and he rolled back into this small office and logged into his computer. “You haven’t gotten into the system yet but I’ll write you down.” Then he pushed himself over to a basket and pulled out a lock and wrote down the combination on the clipboard that was on his lap and handed me the clipboard. “Go ahead and pick a locker.

“Thank you.” I smiled then went and choose a locker. I could feel eyes on me as I picked one of the free large lockers.

Was it because I was new? Or because of my hair? It seemed to bring a lot of attention. It’s not much I could do about it. Yes it was different but I liked my hair so I wasn’t about to change it any time soon. Besides I wasn’t the only one with odd hair the kid that had the locker next to me had two-toned hair with blue and blonde.

I changed into my shorts and shirt then sat on the bench. I hated that they didn’t have a large shirt so I was stuck with a medium. If I lifted my arms my mid drift was showing.

“Forget your own clothes today?” the two toned haired boy asked me and sat down next to me.

I nodded. “It’s my first day here.” I told him.

“I’m Adel.” He held out his hand.

I smiled and shook it. “Sky.” I answered and noticed his bracelet on his wrist. It was a teal green beads. “Aren’t you going to take off your bracelet? It looks really nice. That would be something that I wouldn’t want to lose.” I told him honestly.

“Oh right. I keep forgetting about it. I’ve almost lost it once already.” He said and took it off then put it in this locker and locked it.

“Alright let’s head out.” Mr. Right yelled over all of us and we followed him out.

“Look at that two freaks getting along.” One guy whispered behind me and some other guys chuckled.

I clenched my fists and bit my lip. I hated bullies. I really hope that whatever we’re playing today I end up on an opposite team. I’m sure that my body would know what to do and the knowledge of whatever we were playing would come back once I heard what we were doing.
