-Sky-

‘What’s going on?’ I looked around in the darkness. ‘Where am I?’ I asked into the darkness.

“Skyler calm down.” I deep voice that was very familiar and that’s I’ve heard come from my own vocal cords for a long time echoed. Now that I think about it my voice was an octave or two higher.

“Snow…” I said and jumped as I quickly turned around as his voice was right behind me. “God damn it.” I clutched my chest.

It was me or; the me in the game. Wait game? “Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.” He apologized. He looked at me with a soft expression on his face. Because of the heels on the boots he was a few taller then I was.

I quickly looked down at my hands they were normal my nails were short I was wearing a grey baggy shirt and black shorts and I was bare foot. My head felt lighter then it had been. I grabbed my hair and pulled it over my shoulder. I still had long hair it just want down to my mid back instead. My hair was pure white too. There were no spots in it at all.

“What going on?” I asked him.

“Candice got us out of the game. Well I’m almost out. Once everyone else is out I’ll be completely back.” He said.

“But that didn’t really answer my question.” I mentioned.

He chuckled and put a hand on my head, “Your name is Skyler Kresnik. You’re seventeen years old. You have an older brother named Terence, and I’m a Snow Leopard Spirit that is attached to you.” He told me.

I blinked as I looked up at him and it made him chuckle. I felt someone shaking me and it wasn’t Snow.

“It looks like it’s time for you to finally wake up.” He said as I was pulled away from him.

“Wait, no, Snow, I still have questions.” I reached out for him but I couldn’t reach him.

“Don’t worry I’m with you.” His smile was the last thing I saw of him before everything went black again.

“Sky wake up. Come on do you really want to be late to your first day of high school?” It sounded like Talon.

I opened my eyes and quickly sat up. And looked over there was a short hair version of Talon standing to the side of my bed. But his eyes…they were glazed over. There was no expression to them at all. His bright red eyes they were dual.

“What time is it?” I asked him.

“It’s 7:30 am. You have twenty minuet’s before school starts.” He told me.

‘Hurry up and get dressed idiot. Your going to be lat for school.’ Snow’s voice echoed in my head and I jumped out of bed and raced over to my dresser.

“Oh man, oh man, oh man.” I muttered grabbing a black tank top and threw it on, a pair of blue socks, and blue jeans.

I heard my door click shut. Terence must have left my room. I threw off my shorts put on a pair of boxers, then my pants and socks. I grabbed my black jacket and put it on. It stopped just under my rib cage and had an ice blue zipper. I went into the bathroom. Brushed my hair and teeth then threw my hair up into a high ponytail, grabbed my bag, threw on my shoes and sprinted out the door.

“This is insane. It’s my first day and I’m going to be late.” I panicked as I sprinted down the street.

‘You’re not going to be late. You’ll make it on time.’ Snow said in my head.

“How do you know?” I asked out loud as I got some odd looks from some people as I passed them.

‘You shouldn’t talk to yourself. People may think your crazy.’ I could hear him laugh in my head.

I groaned and rolled my eyes. He was right though I did actually make it on time. The apartment was closer to the school then I thought it was. Once I got into the school I went to the principals office and got my schedule, and locker number with its combination. I thanked him then wandered the halls till I found my locker. I was getting looks from people and others were whispering around me.

“Have you seen him around here before?” I heard a girl ask.

“No, but he’s cute. Do you think he dyed his hair?” Another said.

“It looks to healthy to be dyed.” The girl who asked the first question answered.

I sighed quietly and opened my locker. I pulled out a notebook and a pencil then put the others in my locker with my bag and shut my locker. I pulled my schedule out of my pocket as I walked down the halls. They were fairly empty now.

I saw who looked like a teacher and went up to them. “Excuse me.” I said and the man turned around.

“Can I help you?” He asked me. He looked to be in his mid to late thirties with some grey at his temples and black rimmed glasses.

“It’s my first day here and I’m a little lost. Can you point me in the right direction for room 132 please.” I asked him.

“Twelfth grade English?” He asked raising an eyebrow.

I nodded and looked at my schedule. “Yes sir.”

“That’s actually my class that I teach. Follow me.” He motioned for me to follow so I did. “What’s your name?” He asked.

“Oh I’m Skyler Kresnik.” I answered.

“I’m Mr. Wilder, It’s a pleasure to meet you Skyler.” He smiled at me.

Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad.
