I went to my room and relaxed. Today has been a relaxing day. Candy learned how to swim thanks to Lee, but I would never tell him thank you. That would more then likely inflate his ego way too much. He was my friend I didn’t need him rubbing it in my face that he taught Candy something and I haven’t. Maybe I should teach her some self defense after her nap.

It would be nice to teach her something. But what should I do in the mean time. I told her knock on my door if she needed me so I’ve kind of restricted myself to my room. I don’t know how long her naps take…hmm Maybe she is right and I should just take a nap.

I did end up falling asleep while she was learning how to swim. I usually take it as a sign that I haven’t been sleeping all that well. I feel like I had a bad dream last night but I just can’t seem to remember it.

The breeze that was coming into the window was nice but in my human form I couldn’t sleep on the window ceil without being crammed on it. Which sucks I would love to do it some time. But for now I’ll have to deal with transforming back into my snow leopard form and letting the nice warm sun heat up my fur as I sleep. Of course this was probably the better way so I didn’t get burned.

I’m pale I don’t need to show myself looking like a lobster when I wake up. Lee would never let it go and never let me live it down if that happened. So better decision was made. The sun felt so nice against my fur and I couldn’t help but slip into a comfortable nap.

I woke up to a cool breeze. It was dusk. I didn’t think that I would sleep for that long. I got up and stretched. After getting down off the window ceil I transformed back to my human form and walked out of the room. I wanted to check on Candy since she didn’t wake me up.

I knocked “Candy?” I said quietly and opened up her door, but no one was in the room. “I wonder where she is. She said she wasn’t going home till tomorrow.” I muttered to myself and wandered over to the pool. Lee was getting out and drying off for the night.

“Hey Lee.” He jumped a little and turned to look at me, “Have you seen Candy. The last time I saw her she went in her room to take a nap.” I told him.

“I haven’t seen her and I’ve been out of the pool a few times now.” He answered. “Did you ask one of the spirits?”

“No, not yet. Do you think you could ask Light and Vic if they’ve seen her?” I questioned.

“Sure. Not a problem. I’ll meet you back at your room then.” He told me then headed towards the garden where Vic and Light usually were during the nice sunny days.

I went to the training grounds first to see if Talon was there and if he’d seen Candy. Like I thought that’s where he was and I caught him at a good time he looked like he was taking a break.

“Hey Snow.” He said grabbing the bamboo cup that was sitting on the floor.

“Hey Talon. Have you seen Candy anywhere, I can’t find her.” I told him.

He shook his head. “No, sorry.”

“There you are.” Lee said and I turned around Vic and Light were following him. “They haven’t seen her.”

“We checked everywhere and couldn’t find her.” Light said and now I was starting to get worried. She would have told at least one of us if she was leaving to go home.

“E-excuse me.” I looked down to see one of the sprites fly over to us.

“What is it?” I asked.

“The human girl…I saw her go into the woods towards Azar’s castle.” She said.

My eyes grew wide. “We have to go get her.” Lee said.

“You all stay here and cover for me. I’ll go get her.” I said and walked past Talon to have him grab my shoulder.

“Don’t you dare lose control again.” He ordered.

I smiled and lifted up my leg and pulled out my dagger from my boot and handed it to him. “I promise I won’t.” I said and then I felt Talon’s hand slip off my shoulder as I started towards the forest.

Her sent was still in the air so I could track it. I looked up at the cloudy sky. “I just prey that it doesn’t rain.” I muttered.

But my worst fear came true and about half way though the forest to Azar’s castle it started to rain. Her sent was fading fast. The only thing that I could hope was that the sprite was right and she was at Azar’s and not lost in these woods.

I made it to the gates of the castle and was breathing a little heavy because of the weight of the water that was in my hair. I ran along side the left side of the walls till the castle was a little closer then jumped over and got into the trees. There were a couple of guards that were close to the tree. I didn’t have time for the waiting game I had to find her before something bad happened to her. I swiped my hand and the water that was under their feet turned into ice and froze them into place.

I didn’t have the healing ability that Talon had which I really wish I did but meh beggars can’t be choosers. I was happy with my freezing ability all the same. I jumped down by them and ran towards the castle. I had stealth and ice as Talon had healing and fire. It was worth having my abilities because I could create snow and ice out of thin air. As long as the air wasn’t dry I was fine.

I remembered the layout of the castle like it was the back of my hand. If anything she should be in Azar’s room or the throne room. Azar’s room was closer so that’s where I was going first.

I froze the guards that were standing by the door and then kicked open the door to see both Azar and Candy in the room.
