This is a world based off of the series the Inheritance Cycle.
This is a summary of Eragon.
The chapter summaries I think you should read are: Discovery, Awakening, Tea for Two, A Rider's Blade, Revelation at Yazuac, Through a Dragon's eye, Vision of Perfection, and The Glory of Tronjheim.

Brom once said that we don't know how many dragons survived Galbatorix's slaughter of dragons. We also don't know how many dragon eggs are left. There were the three Galbatrix had but what if there were other eggs that were hidden and escaped the slaughter?

You can be with the Empire or the Varden.

In this world you make a character, and they find a dragon egg. Join in the adventure by filling out this form and pming me:

2. No Mary-sue or Gary-sues (No perfect people!)
3. No swearing
4. Please keep posting, If you stop posting for more than a month without telling us before hand that you won't be able to post you will receive a notice,and if you continue you'll lose you guest poster status
5. You can only have 1 rider/dragon. You can have 2 other characters but they can't be a rider, and one Werecat
6. Have fun!

An old friend

Thief

"Azof, where are you going and who is your companion?" said Onyx.
"This is Elva, and we are going to the..." I said then got cut off by Elva.
"I don't trust this girl...how dose she know you?" Elva asked.
"Don't worry, Elva. She is an old friend, I use to trade goods with her brother." I explained.
"Alright..." Elva said.
"So...can I tell her where we're going?" I asked.
"Fine." Elva said.
"As I was saying... we are heading for the Varden." I finished.
"Can I come with you?" Onyx asked.
"Can she come?" I asked.
"Fine, but keep an eye on her." She said in a whisper.
"You can come." I answered.
"YAY!" Onyx cheered.

Meeting Elva and Azof

"He's at the palace like usual!" he coughed. My grip tightened and he fell to the floor. I let go and started walking. I need to find someone to help me, I don't know where the Varden is.

"I can help." the sinister voice in my head smirked. I choose to ignore it. I ran for days with no direction. I sighed thinking I might as well give in to her but then I sensed a familiar presence, elf. Maybe they know where the Varden is! I ran over to them. I stopped when I was right in front of them.

"Where are you going?" I growled at the two presences.

"O-onyx!" One of them said in surprize. I recognized it. That must be Azof he works for my brother but I didn't recognize the other one. Azof was probably planning on helping the rebellion against my brother. Good, this may lead to my advantage.

"Azof, where are you going and who is your companion?" I asked him sternly.

The dragon

I gaped as the egg hatched and a amethyst colored dragon came out of the broken pieces of the egg. Azof came over and sat behind me to watch. The dragon looked up at me with big purple eyes. Then it started to shiver from the cold. I reached out to pick up the dragon with my right hand. Pain and a cold sensation filled my arm all the way up to my shoulder. Tears sprang into my eyes. After a while the pain stopped and I had a silvery gedwëy ignasia was formed on my hand. I rapped the dragon in my cloak and looked at Azof. He looked back at me.

A feeling from a unfamilar person came into my mind. The feeling was of hunger. I looked down at the cold dragon and said to Asof, "Could you get me some food?"
Azof got me some food and I fed them to the dragon.

"We need to get to the Varden as soon as we can!" I said.
"Lets sleep, then leave," suggested Azof. We slept, the dragon in my arms.

The next day I made a backpack out of weeds and broken branches to put the dragon in. We traveled all day and the next. After running for almost two days straight you need to rest. The dragon grew a little in the past two days. It certainty ate a lot.

I felt who was around me. Two guards on each side of me, one behind, one ahead, three in the trees. Today would be the day I broke out of this prison. I was about to move into action when I heard a familiar voice in my head.

"Can I help?" she chuckled.

"No!: I growled. "I can get through this with my own strength." I sensed where every one was again. We got onto a small bridge, now was my chance. I kicked the guards on my side and the fell into the river with a large splash. The ones in front and behind attacked me, I jumped and the killed each other. I started running away at an unbelievable speed for a human, perhaps even equal to an elf's. I started to try and sense my scenery I was around where someone made camp. I felt a familiar presence...One of my brothers guards! I growled a bit. I located his presence and I was before him in seconds, my hands clenched around his throught in a death lock. True aim.

"O-o-onyx!" He coughed between cut of breaths, he seemed surprised. I noticed another presence but it was a less familiar one so I ignored it.

"Where is my brother?!?!" I growled at him.
