Back at the school, John was inside of it after hours looking for traces that said that Jeff had been nearby. He figured that if he had caught Jeff in the act of 'going missing' then Jeff would stop being an idiot and come back. He started hearing noises, but just figured that it was either Jeff or a janitor.He went to take a step and he was unable to move his feet, so he looked down. He was in great horror as he saw that the floor had become like a black ocean beneath his feet, and down into it he slowly sank.
He grabbed a locker to attempt to hold himself up but the darkness that laid upon the floor pulled his arms free and he was gone. A few moments later a janitor came through to clean the floors.
