Hello.

My name is Maxie. I seek nothing more than the expansion of the land mass and the growth of the habitat of both people and Pokemon.

Besides this main goal, I have many other, smaller goals, such as beating Team Aqua and their incredibly stupid leader Archie at everything they do and surviving a day working as head of Team Magma with my sanity intact.

This is my personal blog. I hope you enjoy.

...you wish to annoy me further? Isn't that lovely. Well, if you really desire to join my world, read this:

Almost Done

~Maxie~

Tomorrow morning, we'll be off to Lilycove. And then I will never have to set foot on a boat again. Ever.

Mossdeep has been the worst of the islands we visited. Let's be honest; there's not much here besides the Space Center and a good ramen shop. I'd never understand why anyone would want to live here, ever. In fact, anyone who'd live on Mossdeep is probably crazy! Really, who'd pick such a boring island to live on? I mean, the only island worse than Mossdeep is Pacifidlog, which is a PILE OF LOGS.

Bitter? I'm not bitter. What do I have to be bitter about?

Anyway, Mars and I visited the Space Center and saw a launch. I'm not sure how these people manage to launch a rocket every week--doesn't that get expensive? I suspect Team Rocket. But anyway, Mars bought herself some earrings of the planet Mars. She's been wearing them around ever since. While she wasn't paying attention, I bought her a necklace; it's a pendant with a piece of meteorite in it. It's her birthday next month, so...

So we wandered around a little bit after that. Like I said, there wasn't really anything all that interesting. Mars stopped by all the little souvenir shops and bought some candy in the shape of Solrock and Lunatone. It's pretty cute; they're little hard candies that come in a bag. They're actually fairly delicious...

We ate dinner at that ramen shop I mentioned earlier. Of course, Mars complained about how greasy it was inside the shop, but the food was good, if not incredibly unhealthy but I had a very light breakfast so I kinda needed it... Maybe I'll remember the place. Oh, wait. I'm never coming back to this island ever again.

We're staying at the Pokemon Center until tomorrow morning, when our ship's leaving. I'm very excited to get back on the mainland. I miss my lovely volcano...

I'm telling you, Mars owes me big time...

Mother of Mew...

~Maxie~

I will never.

Ever.

Ever.

EVER.

Set foot in a submarine for the rest of my life.

I don't care that Sootopolis is a "bustling and lovely city to visit." I don't care that a city inside a volcano is "so totally awesome." I don't even care that it's home to the Cave of Origin! I don't care. I will never enter a submarine again.

It was really compact, the ceilings were low, there were very few lights, and we were underwater. I was in a metal death trap and five hundred some feet under the water. I almost died. And of course, Mars made fun of me the whole time. I'm not sure how anyone couldn't be scared stiff of it, though! Really, one wrong move and you're drowned! I let Nikki out of his Pokeball to keep me company...He cheered me up a little bit, but still...

Sootopolis itself was rather interesting, even though it wasn't the battle site of two enormous ancient Pokemon at the current moment. I mean, it still doesn't beat living in an active volcano, but an extinct volcano is still pretty amazing, I guess. The Cave of Origin, I will admit, was astounding. It's places like those that I could sit in and just let time pass by...Mt. Pyre is the only other place where I've felt that way. It's just a very calming sensation...

We left Sootopolis after dinner after going through that terrifying submarine ordeal again... Our ship was leaving the city tonight because Mossdeep is a bit farther away from Sootopolis than Pacifidlog was. So I'm actually typing this on the ship right now--it's not as bumpy as yesterday, thank god. We should be arriving at Mossdeep around 10 or 11 tomorrow. Then we'll finally be done this island crap.

...Truth be told, I'm a tad nervous about tomorrow. But it should be fine. Hopefully. ...maybe...

Pile-of-Logs Town

~Maxie~

Well, the island hopping has begun. Mars and I set out from Slateport towards Pacifidlog Town or, as I call it, Pile-of-Logs Town. I'll talk more on that later. However, first I must comment on the absolutely abysmal boat ride over. We had to ride against the current, so the turbulence or whatever you call it for boats was terrible. I was almost sick. While Mars was up on deck battling people with Casper, I stayed in my room and slept, or tried to, at least.

Then we arrived at Pile-of-Logs. The island, if you could call it that, is completely man-made. The houses float in the ocean, and the only way to traverse between them are LOGS. TETHERED-TOGETHER LOGS. And the logs sink into the ocean a bit when you walk on them...ugh... (shudders) I felt incredibly unsafe trying to get from place to place.

Mars, of course, ran around like a crazy person, talking to everyone, having the time of her life. I really don't see the value of going to this island, but she had fun, so I guess it's okay...However, my boots are covered in seawater, and I almost fell into the ocean once or twice...Our boat leaves early tomorrow morning, so we're staying at the Pile-Of-Logs Pokemon Center for the night. I just hope the whole Pokemon Center doesn't sink into the ocean while I'm sleeping...

Part of me thinks we should have started at Mossdeep City, but then again, there are certain individuals I'd rather not take my chances with until I'm semi-prepared....But it would have spared me that incredibly bumpy boat ride...We're going to Sootopolis City tomorrow, and Mossdeep on Monday. Oh, Sootopolis. I get to go in a submarine, joy. A tight, enclosed space underwater. I'm doomed.

Well, I'm going to sleep. I'll need some energy to survive tomorrow....

Friday

~Maxie~

Courtney sang me this...unusual song today...Mars joined in...They call it "Friday" by Rebecca Black. I believe my ears started bleeding. Tabitha wanted to show me the official version; fortunately I managed to escape in time. What the hell are kids listening to these days?

Courtney and Tabitha tagged along with Mars and me today when we went to Verdanturf Town. We all taught Mars how to make Pokeblocks. She said she would teach us to make Poffins eventually. Casper, Mar's newest Pokemon, got to be the guinea pig for the Pokeblocks. Well, he's not dead...

Mars wants to go to the islands of Hoenn, starting tomorrow. I promised her we would, but to be honest, I'm a bit nervous. I never like traveling on water, but I can't fly over water, either, so we have to take a boat. So I'm going to be spending prolonged periods of time on a ship probably locked in my room, and then there's the whole islands themselves--Pacifilog scares me because it's legitimately a bunch of logs tied together, Sootopolis scares me because you have to go underwater to get there, Mossdeep scares me because I'm pretty sure Archie lives there..., it's just problems all around. And we're spending a day at each island--Mars is actually staying until Wednesday, so that gives us an extra day when we get back.

I just hope this island thing goes smoothly...

Like Tourism, But With More Violence

~Maxie~

Mars and I spent all of yesterday in Lilycove, so that's why I didn't write a blog post yesterday. Mars couldn't get enough of the department store. I don't understand why girls love shopping so much...She bought quite a few things that I ended up carrying...We also saw and possibly purchased a Wailord plush... Then we went to see a Pokemon contest--the things always bored me, but Mars has always been interested. Apparently the contests in Sinnoh work differently. Mars told me she liked Hoenn's system better.

Anyway, we spent the night at a small inn in Lilycove, then today made our way back to the base via Fortree City. Mars was very intrigued by the treehouses. She told me she always wanted to live in a treehouse. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable knowing that I was sleeping suspended twenty feet in the air...

We also visited the Weather Center, and Mars seemed to make friends with a Castform. It's been following us around now...She calls it Casper. How cute.

We ate dinner at home tonight. Mars seems to be getting along swimmingly with the admins. Tabitha recently asked me why I couldn't be as "cool" as my cousin. Stupid kid...

No more incidents with Archie, though. Maybe we can keep it that way until Mars leaves next Tuesday, at least?
