Evan Marks, Vampire

I sank my teeth into her neck and drank her blood. It was so sweet. My vision cleared and brightened my surroundings. I could drink it all. But I pulled my fangs out of her.

“Thanks. If I die,” I said, kissing her on the lips, “at least I got to kiss you.”

I turned around and pulled out a stake from my belt.

“How good are you at dark magic?” asked Dracula.

“Not too shabby.” I said.

I blasted a blue beam at him. A black cloud sprang out of him and they collided, spraying sparks everywhere. The rain sizzled against the sparks. My beam shattered and everything exploded, throwing us both back. I scrambled to my feet and threw a ball of fire at Christian. He extinguished it with his hand and went for another spell. I threw a grenade. It exploded on impact, throwing me off balance. Dracula’s spell was destroyed.

I sprinted towards him and took out a stake, leaping at him with my arms outstretched. I plunged for his heart. Dracula fell back as we crashed down onto the pavement. He looked down and saw a stake driven through his heart. I stabbed him again with two more stakes. Dracula began spilling blood and leaking darkness out of his being. He cursed at me, crawling towards me. I took my last round of Hellfire and drove it into his skull.

Fire erupted from his brain. It swirled around with the dark mist that poured out of him.The darkness attacked me, the tentacles trying to control me. I had one last grenade.I pulled the pin and rolled it towards the barely living Vampire. It erupted into a light show. I flew back as every evil entity in Dracula’s body was eviscerated. I laid on the watered ground and let the rain tap on me.

I was alive. I just killed the worst Vampire on earth. No big deal. Who happened to be my crush’s boyfriend. My eyes snapped open. What about Kelsey? I realized she was standing right above me. Her blue eyes lighting up the sky. She jumped at my eyes opening and started to laugh.

“I thought you were dead!” she said.

She wanted to hug me, but I was on the ground so it wasn’t going to happen.

“Help me up.” I commanded, holding out my hands.
