Hello!!

have fun, okay?

the endeavors of disguise

Hello everyone It's really nice to be typing again! this time I have a few ideas I want to run by you, read carefully okay?

Have you ever hidden your identity? Was it necessary to do so? On another note did it work? Those who know you best will always be able to tell an act from the real thing.... I've had quite a few dreams lately about cosplay and deception, this is what has happened....

I was working tonight as usual, many people were tonight. OtakuT.V, the tv station for which I worked, was finally taking off! At nine o'clock exactly our first world wide broadcast was airing. My job was really simple, cater to our guest star's every whim. If I could do this I would be promoted to a higher position, hopefully one that didn't require waiting on someone hand and foot!

"Kumi-chan? we need you backstage..." that was my co-worker Dyani Evans, she was under the impression that she'd never need anyone ever. This sounded like trouble to me.

"I'm on my way!" up the stairs and to the left our guest star's green room was locked, he wouldn't answer, not even for me. How would our best show go on without our self-proclaimed "worlds greatest Miku Hatsune cosplayer"?!

It took our entire team to break open that damn door. It didn't help us much though. Passed out in the middle of the floor was our star. The room reaked of alchohol and the walls and furniture had been torn apart.
"Who the hell is that fat lard in our green room?!" Our newest member hadn't been on time today and hadn't meet our guest.

"... We're ****ed huh Kumi-chan?" dyani's foul mouth was still in top form, at least that was normal.

"Yeah, You could say that. Or you could say I'm out of a job." I had to get myself and my team out of this. My walkie talkie beeped and our boss's voice was audible

"We need our star out here in five, got it?"

"Yeah"

"No screw ups this time kumiko."

"Kay..."

I turned to my team. "We need ideas!"

"Why don't we just dress you up in his cosplay?" Our newbie's brilliance shown through, finally! Wait, why me? I asked my question.

"Well," dyani said "You are already in costume."
what? I looked down at myself, and lo and behold I was! goddamn it!

how's that for a suprise ending?

the endeavors of space

Hello! This time I need your opinion...

Last night I had a dream about portal 3. Strange you may assume but hear me out....

When chell left, or rather was kicked out, Glados decided she needed a new hobby something more dangreous then testing robot teamwork. She mentioned it once and thought it was good... reanimating the dead seemed good to her. It was risky and dangerous and there was no bounderies for her, a comuter with little morality. Here's the one detail that gave me issue, in the portal games aperture science inc. has always been grounded, in my dream it was out in space.

In my story the test subect in taken into space tested thoroughly for DNA samples and other such things. However aliens come and invade the station. Glados employs the help of her test subjest and together they beat the creatures and begin to see the other as a friend.

The creatures are attracted to electricity and their main goal is to find the main circut. Test subject uses the portal gun to avoid or destroy the creatures and preserve glados.

how does it sound? cool? lame? my brother thought it sounded off and too farfetched to be any good. what's your opinion?

the endevors of internet

What is the internet? Is it a series of tubes? A network of users and programs? or is it more simple? For me internet is all about communication, if you don't receive info what is the good? I've always wondered about internet because it is so vast yet intricately connected to everything we do nowadays. Here's a bit of fanfic I thought of just for you guys!

I sat on my pillow encrusted bed. I was three inches deep in fluff and spring but I was not about to sleep, I was too sad, and to excited. I'd become very close to a person I meet online, we were practically best friends now but my father noticed a steep drop in my grades and was threatening cutting of internet connection. I wouldn't be able to survive that.

My computer screen lit up, guess who was online? His name was Allen Walker, yes the anime character, somehow we had been able to connect over the world wide web. How? I often asked myself, why? I sometimes pondered. I accepted it as a miracle now, my own personal miracle, I would never tell a soul.

"My father wants to shut our connection" I told him through tears, "after two years this is how we end huh?" I began to elaborate and reminisce with him.

"Is there anything I can do?" he asked "please stop crying!" We started to talk about old times. Two years worth of rough and smooth sailing was about to end.

"I guess this is goodbye," he said as the clock neared 2am "I hope I can see you soon"

"You too"

My computer shut down, looks like my internet died or shut off. Either way I was alone now.

Funny thing happened a few years later. I met a cosplayer on the street near a convention one time. He talked like an old friend and told me he would never be far. Sounded strange at the time, but sometimes life is strange.

This is one of my favorites! I've mulled it over quite a bit these last few days. How's it sound?

the endevors of mathematics

How does it feel to understand math? cool, when I understand what my teacher says I feel real smart and I can puff up my chest and laugh at the hopeless losers behind me. However most of the time I am the hopeless loser! I'm the one who looks smart but isn't. What a shame! That's why moments like this are what I live for, you like romance? good. This is a snippet from my experience in math class.

I shook off my soaked hands, earlier I had been dissecting animal parts in human anatomy and the befouling smell of latex had clung to my hands! I was currently hiding from my responsibility as a student in math class and meandering about the 600 wing. I slipped into the ladies room to wash off the revolting smell and now headed back to my class, and that was when i caught a glimpse of my friend Henry sitting calmly in his own class. He was engrossed in his work and didn't see me, but just a look got me feeling better.

When I sat at my table the three boys sitting around me had caused mischief. To the right Evan was wearing my coat, diagonally John had drawn a smiley on my paper and across from me Aaron..... well he just was and that was enough. We had a nice laugh about Evan's nice fit into my coat, and a quick chat about the smell of latex. Aaron reach for my hand to see what my fuss was all about. I jerked back, I didn't want him touching me.

"Ha!" Evan said "you can't just smell her hands! Only Henry's allowed to do that!" I gave him a look but I knew that everyone was already aware of my fondness for him, so I just pretended I was working on math to hide my crazy blushing. The class started a quiz and Evan leaned over to his comrades

"We need to get Henry to ask her out" he whispered.

"I heard that." I warned

"No you didn't!" he shot back quietly

sweet huh? I think I'm really lucky to have nice guys like Evan and John for friends! Eathematics can be cool, sometimes......
