Mocha did not wait and kept going until she and Kiki made it to the hole where Tsukino and Leon came through.
“They shouldn’t be here…I mean it would be a problem if they were…” Mocha complained, pacing.
“What is going on, Mocha?!” Kiki demanded.
“Takuma and Toshiro are looking for us…” Mocha sighed.
Kiki pursed her lips together.
“Kiki! Mocha!” Hime called, catching up, “You two should not just wander off.
It’s safer in bigger numbers…”
“Yeah…Well it looks like those two idiots have not found this place yet…hopefully
they w-” Mocha started, but was interrupted.
“Mocha!” a voice called.
The trio looked up to see Toshiro and Takuma at the entrance of the hole.
“Sunshine!” Takuma smiled at Kiki.
Kiki blushed and waved.
“Thank goodness you both are ok!” Takuma exclaimed, “And Hime too!”
“Mocha, stay right there and I’ll be right down.”
“Tch. Captain! You can’t! You can’t come down here!” Mocha cried.
“Why not?”
“No! Go home! I understand that you are already dead. But you need to leave. This place…I have no idea how it will affect you. Kiki’s watch barely works…My hat…it does not work very well… Captain. Dante is completely human here. We can all die here and I don’t want to risk losing you!” she shouted, “Just this once! Listen to me! Don’t be stubborn and do what I ask for once in your life!”
“But-”
“NO! Please…Toshiro…go home…I’m fine. Kiki and I are ok.”
“I agree with Captain Hitsugaiya this time.” Takuma said, “It’s too late to go home.”
“What?” Kiki questioned.
“…” Toshiro looked at Takuma with confusion.
“You both don’t seem to be hurt too bad. And while I want nothing but to rush down there and protect my Sunshine…We will stay here and we will clear the way for you both. You have to get out for your precious friends. You both need to promise us that…” Takuma explained, “So…we cannot go home…But can we at least wait for you?”
“Ichijo! You can’t just decide that on your own,” Toshiro tsked.
Toshiro froze and turned his head back to where the fork in the road was.
“That….that’s Hana’s spiritual pressure…” he said.
“Spiritual pressure?” Hime questioned.
“….”
“We finally found Mocha and Kiki…and now this happens? Luna will have my head if one of the girls die…”
Toshiro closed his eyes, his eyebrows pushed together and his mouth in a scowl.
He pulled the package from his sleeve and tossed it down to Mocha.
“Take that. Use it well…We’re leaving Takuma…”
Mocha opened the package and smiled, “A sword. Thank you.”
“Use that to get out…”
“Kiki! Catch!” Takuma called, throwing a small package.
Kiki opened it, “EEE!! COOKIES! Thank you Takuma!!!”
“I thought you could use a pick-me-up. Be safe. We will see you soon,” he replied.
Toshiro and Takuma left in a hurry.
“That was nice…seeing them…” Mocha said, looking at the sword.
“Yup! AND I GOT COOKIES OUT OF IT!!!” Kiki danced as they headed back to the safe room.
“We need to hurry back. Everyone will be worried,” Hime said.
Ikkaku rest Hōzukimaru on his shoulder.
“I hope Mocha prevented Captain Hitsugaiya from being an idiot…”
“Ikkaku! Ikkaku!” Hisa cried, running over.
“What’s wrong?! Did you find anymore clocks?” Ikkaku asked.
“We did! But the enemy was there and it ate Chrysta!” Hisa cried.
“WHAT?! What about Kas or Sesshomaru?”
“They are trying to make the monster spit Chrysta up, but we have to go help!”
“Alright! I’m coming! Let’s go!” Ikkaku replied as his phone rang.
He answered it.
“You told Mocha…I am not pleased…But…I guess it is ok…bye…” Toshiro said, hanging up.
“…” Ikkaku stared at his phone, “That was…abrupt…”
“Let’s go Ikkaku!” Hisa called.
“MOCHA, KIKI AND HIME ARE BACK!” Danni shouted, “Did everything work out?”
“I GOT COOKIES!” Kiki cheered.
Dante’s phone started to ring.
“Wow! Reception has been good lately,” Danni commented.
“Y-yeah…Excuse me for a second…” Dante said walking to the restroom.
Dante answered it, “What took you so long? What have you been doing?...What? Harassed? Just tell me already…are we working together or not? The hell? Where are you now? We are making progress right?”
Dino slipped out of the restroom he was in and crossed his arms, his eyes narrowed.
“Why would you do that? I can’t believe it…” Dante continued.
Dino cleared his throat.
“!! What…Dino?! How long have you been there?”
“All along…”
“Right…”
“….I am going to go check on Jenny…Just know…if you do anything that could harm my family…I will end you…”
Dino turned and left.
