Hime and Kiki entered the safe room unharmed.
“Oh, thank God!” Chero cried, running over, “I was just about to go and help you two!”
“We couldn’t kill it, but we escaped. How is Jenny doing?” Kiki asked.
“She’s calmed down. She is sleeping now…” Chero sighed.
“I see. I’ll have to wait for her to wake up before I can lecture her,” Kiki joked.
“I’m sorry…I knew Jenny had something in mind, but…maybe I pushed her a little too far…” Chero closed her eyes.
“What did you say to her?”
“Oh…I told her, “’Maybe you should have learned to smile a little more naturally’”
Kiki laughed, “That’s what Jenny told you! You threw her words back at her, just like that! Props!”
“You outdid her, Chero,” Hime teased.
Suddenly a flash went off in the room and the group that went to the past returned.
“Whoa! You’re back safe and sound!” Hime grinned.
“Danni!” Dante called.
Danni stood up from where she was sitting and looked at Dante with confusion.
“We went through a lot, but we killed them all. All of them…Nothing in the past has changed…nothing…” Francis said, closing his eyes.
“What about you?” Mocha asked.
“Jenny got injured…She’s sleeping now…We did not explore the annex too much because of that. At the moment I feel like we’re under house arrest because we failed to defeat the monster…” Kiki sighed.
“Jenny?!” Francis exclaimed, running over to the bed area.
“What’s wrong Dante?” Danni asked.
Dante walked over to her and pulled her into a huge hug and kissed her over and over again.
“If you lose your life again…I’ll never forgive you…” he said.
Danni laughed, her cheeks bright red. She nodded, “Alright! Alright! I promise!”
Kiki headed off to the kitchen while Mocha headed over to check on Jenny and Francis. The song INsANiTy started to play.
“My phone!” Chero cried, pulling it out and answering it quickly.
“Hey Chero! It’s Ikkaku,” he said from the other side.
“Oh! Ikka! It’s been a while! How is everything out there?” Chero asked.
“Yes. Things are fine! Can you hand over the phone to Mocha?”
“What? Why didn’t you just call her?” Chero asked.
“I can seem to get through…Maybe she forgot it at home? I also tried Dante, but no one can seem to contact him. We can call everyone except Mocha and Dante,” Ikkaku said.
Chero looked at Dante who was sitting at the table with Danni on his lap. ….She had sworn she heard him on the phone before…
“R-right. Hold on!”
Chero walked over to the bed area where Francis was giving Jenny a kiss on the
forehead as she was resting.
“Mocha! Ikkaku wants to speak with you,” Chero said, holding the phone out.
“Oh?! Thank you. My phone’s battery is dead…I forgot to charge it. Sorry for having to use your phone, Chero,” Mocha replied.
“It’s alright!”
“Hello?” Mocha said into the phone, “Mm….what? What?! Ugh…So they heard about that…Yeah…*sigh* I’ll go get Kiki and we’ll take a look. Good luck to you too! Just don’t die a second time, ok?”
Mocha hung up and groaned. She handed the phone back, “Thank you…”
“What’s wrong?”
“Captain and Takuma are looking for that hole that your sister and Leon used. I’m going to get Kiki from the kitchen and go check. They shouldn’t come here. That idiot…” Mocha said in frustration.
“…Ok…Good luck…” Chero said.
Mocha looked at Francis, “Watch over Jenny while I’m gone, ok?”
“But of course~” he replied, looking at Jenny with concern.
Mocha hurried to the kitchen and grabbed Kiki by the arm and dragged her away.
“Twinnie!” Kiki cried, “Where are we going?”
“To see two idiots!”
“Mocha! Kiki! Wait!” Hime called after them.
