News: DC Flashpoint Movie Coming July 2013

Today, DCComics.com announces that Warner Bros. will release the 18th installment of the "DC Universe Animated Original Movies" series on July 30, 2013, following the release of the Superman Vs. Braniac-themed installment Superman: Unbound on May 7. The made-for-DVD film itself, titled "Justcie League: The Flashpoint Paradox", will be an adaptation of the controversial 2011 Flashpoint comic book miniseries, which preluded the DC New 52 overhaul of the entire DC Universe Canon. In case some of you reading this news post are new to the DC Universe experience, the miniseries itself centered around Barry Allen/The Flash trying to restore his home universe back to normal after an attempt to fix a wrong for his family in the past resulted in an alternate timeline where the 1) Justice League was never established, 2) the Atlanteans and the Amazons were at war agaisnt each other, and 3) Dr. Thomas Wayne (not Bruce Wayne) was Batman and running Wayne Casinos.

If you are the knid of DC Comcis fan hungry for a Justcie League movie, even though the live-action JL movie is not due for another two years, I say mark your calendars for this animated film's release. Checking out this film should help your wait.
