Guess What Tomorrow Is.....!!
Nyarth's turning NINETEEN. And you remember what else? I said he was going to evolve when he turned 19. He's evolving into a Persian tomorrow!!!!

I'll be drawing him tomorrow in celebration! I'm looking forward to not having to draw that forehead coin anymore, it never made sense to me.
I finally found the perfect mouth reference!
I have been wracking my brain for forever trying to figure out exactly how I want Nyarth's lips to look like.... Of course, I settled on the idea of a more real-life kitty mouth. But I had no idea where to find any actual references for what I wanted.
I'm watching The Fifth Element right now, and I realized something as I see the scenes with Gary Oldman playing the main villain, Zorg.
His lips are exactly what I envision Nyarth's to look like! The top one's drawn up a bit so it kinda looks like a :3 mouth. Check out this Google search of Gary Oldman's 5th Element days, and you'll see what I mean.
I think it's perfect! Whaddya think? I'm very pleased.

GUYS. TODAY NYARTH TURNS 18 YEARS OLD. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE. HE CAN DRIVE A CAR ALREADY. THough I don't want him to, he's still a baby!!! Hahaha. I'll be drawing him tonight, if I can.
