Aw, poor teacher. I can't even imagine. I think there might have been a teacher like that, we would tease him, but I think he did raise his voice a few times so nothing ever got out of hand...>3>
Actualllyyyy...I am pretty sure these are the appropriate steps in the animation process:
Key frames (just draw what beginning middle and end you want in the movement)
In-between frames (adding the transitions to show the movements leik animation should)
You have those two things which are the fundamentals. I think for certain animations if they aren't huge actions like running or whatever, something where a part of the body should remain still like walking or speaking, you copy and paste.
It will look unnatural and choppy this way so you go back over it cleanly and then it will look more natural. Then you can add color. THE END~! :D
I am pretty sure that is how it goes, from the documentaries I've seen on animation...but there are certain parts that I get confused 'cause I'm leik 'Why are the lines colored?! WHAT'S GOING ON?!'
He did look and act like him, except his hair was black and he was significantly skinnier. I always feel bad for him, because my sister had him for Physics, and the kids would make fun of him with jokes that would go over his head... WHY. ;A;
Aah, the "children are innocent" concept actually does come up in Noland's story... except it's not with killing. STILL TRYING TO KEEP IT A SECRET, THOUGH. >3>
It's a good title. Tells you exactly what you're getting.
Thanks for the advice! ;3; The part I have trouble with is keeping things the same size during the "transition" frames. ""orz

Ahhh...I can see the improvement! *3* So much in only 2 years~! O.O
Wow, that comment on the teacher really does fit Noland. Quite odd...XD He looked and acted like Noland? I feel bad for the teacher in real life, though...Sounds like a character in a manga I recently read. Let's just hope he doesn't suddenly get notified of dying and then go off killing random parents...>3> Because 'children are innocent'
Haha! Very nice and sophisticated title: Gabe Gesturing at Nothing, Forever. I'd buy it.
I dunno, you probably already know this...buuuuttt...I'm pretty sure with animation you just keep the first frame on the bottom, trace over the parts you want to keep, and then draw the next bit you want. Then you go back inbetween until the end of time adding transitions then it becomes smoother. SAYS THE COMPLETE EXPERT ON ANIMATION
HAHA, for some reason, your comment made me really happy. xDD I'M SO GLAD YOU UNDERSTAND HIS POINTINESS.
You're right that I did used to draw everyone with equal pointiness because that's how I thought everyone was supposed to look, but some time around last year I started trying to draw people with more consistent face shapes. STILL STRUGGLIN', BUT AT LEAST I'M MAKING SOME PROGRESS WITH STEFAN APPARENTLY! 8D;
Aha, thank you! And nice segue at the end into a completely different topic..... I do want to make some prints, but I'm really busy this semester. orz
OH MY GOSH, I FINALLY UNDERSTAND STEFAN'S FACE!!!!
I thought you always drew him with a long, pointy face on accident.... like he was really supposed to look kind of better, but you always kind of messed up, for some reason. BUT NOW I SEE THAT HE IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A LONG, POINTY FACE. Cuz he's not supposed to look that much like a cartoon. Or/and I guess he's not supposed to look "perfect."
Okay, I get it now.
That second bunny picture is so cool, by the way. I really like the face and hair. And by looking at that face, I somehow realized that Stefan isn't supposed to look like that. O_o o_O Are you gonna make pics so you can sell them at a convention sometime? BD

YAYE I'm glad you're happy. :D Yuh, his face is more distinct than your average default face shape, so hooray, hooray~
Haha and the word segue just looks like "seg-yew". Weird word. Don't worry, you will have a long summer break to work. ;D
