Yeah, I really didn't like Jared Leto as the Joker. His acting style was very jerkish, as he'd leave little "presents" on set for his coworkers to find. I also don't like the Harley/Joker dynamic, since it's entirely abusive. He brainwashed her into being in love with him, and some people idolize their relationship. It's kind of gross.

I did go watch Suicide Squad. It was good, but not as great as everyone made it out to be. Not a fan of Jared Leto's joker, and I wish Harley's Brooklyn accent would have been more consistent throughout the movie. I'm also not a huge fan of their take on the Joker's and Harley's relationship as it's much darker in the comics.

It's going great so far! I love all my classes, even if I was a little freaked out by some of them at first (some are way more work than others), and I've made a lot of good friends and study buddies.

I hope you got to see Suicide Squad! It was so good, and I'm excited to see what comes next in the DC universe!

I didn't do much of anything in the way of excitement; I did see Suicide Squad last Friday with my friends before I left for college, and it was so good! But the rest of my summer was spent doing absolutely, blissful nothing. which is exactly what i no longer have time to do, haha

The academic year, which just started last Tuesday.
The work isn't the absolute worst thing ever, but there are a lot of technical issues with my laptop so its drug me behind.

As a matter of fact I'm trying to pull an all-nighter tonight because I have so much to catch up.

I knew a couple people in college with it, so it means a lot to me to be able to do this. I've never done a marathon (not that this is a full marathon) before, but this should be fun.

How's your summer been? Do anything exciting?

My summer has been as follows:

1. Left home to go stay with my dad after graduation.
2. Stayed w/ dad and my brother for a month.
3. Came to Colorado and went through Basic.
4. Now its Friday and we have some free time so I'm gettin' back to check in for a while.

I'd like to give you a SuperHug for the mud run you're doing; my dad has MS and it needs all the awareness it can get. Not enough people understand what it is, or how far science has come towards a possible cure.

It sounds like you had a lot of fun this summer! I'm happy for you, with the new job, and hopefully you'll get to leave your part-time job soon. And congratulations to your bro for graduating!

I am glad to be out of there to not have to worry. Just difficult trying to find another place in that same area.

Didn't see any snakes at all but it was a lot of fun. Been a crazy start to this week and will be gaining back some of the personal time off that I used for the vacation. Once I get the part back from the machine shop it should only take be 2-3 days to put it all back together.

For the break in, my roommate there and I think it was the landlord's son who got a hold of her key. So that was not fun to deal with. We changed the locks but we could see that they tried a few more times but with no luck due to the swap. The only reason we noticed was because a card on the counter was opened after we just discussed what was in there that morning.

Wow! Someone just walked in and stole some stuff? Did you know them or some random person that lived there before you? Totally understandable to move back home with your parents. Gives you a chance to save up some money for a better place!

Me summer has been not been bad. Mostly been working but just took my first summer week vacation since starting to visit my best friend in Florida. Blew the head gasket in my off road jeep so haven't been able to go play in the woods with her.

Had to move back in with my parents after being on my own basicly since college and renting my own place. The last house I was renting in, some had a copy of the key and just walked in to steal some petty stuff. So I didn't want to stay there after the lease expired and have been trying to find a place to move into. So it's weird being back home.

Other than that just starting playing paintball again. Meet some great people and have been prospecting to join their team.

I may have some sports glasses from when I needed them that I could send you. Would just need to get the lens changed to your needs. Also, its bummer to hear that your eyes still are not healing. 8-( Make you a sad frokie.

I hope that the doctors will figure out what it is. So far every doctor I've gone to has no idea what's going on and it's not bacterial or viral.

That's great that you've been able to go and do so many things. I've been stuck working my jobs all summer and not being able to go anywhere. Did my last day of babysitting for the family that I was babysitting for because I was just being used and they were paying me when they wanted. The mother of the child bitches at me because I gave her kid juice and "she only drinks milk and water". I also have scratches on both my eyes so I've been stuck in my glasses all summer thus I haven't been running like I wanted to all summer. So tomorrow I'm hoping to go and pick berries early enough to be able to make it down to my eye doctors and order sports glasses so I can actually get back to running and what not. But yeah so my summer as been work and eye doctors appointments. It's nice to know that you were able to enjoy your summer though.
