In troubled times, laugh, laugh.

Hi! This is another Gintama quote. Well, I've felt a lot better today. The weather was nice and I found away to almost make my 'brain shivers' non- existent. Someone suggested an Omega 3 supplement, and I already had some, so I thought I should try it. It was so much better. When it did happen it wasn't as intense. Somehow I can tolerate it more. So, since I was in a good mood I got up early and finally got to do my normal routine again.

I read more of Naruto. I'm at the point in the manga where Konoha is being attacked, and the Hokage is battling with Orochimaru. I hate to say this but I love Orochimaru in both the anime and manga. He's kind of one of those characters that you love to hate, I guess. ;P I love how Pakkun shows up, and Sakura immediately says how can a little dog help us? Pakkun's awesome though! His attitude is funny, he can track down enemies, he's smart, etc. He bit Shikamaru when he was playing possum. That was great! They're trying to find where Sasuke went. I love this part of the story for some reason. :D

I got to play my clarinet today too. That was really nice! The only problem was since my fingers aren't used to it anymore, I screwed up on some songs. My stupid pinkies wouldn't move right and I felt like they were going to break. Oh, well maybe tomorrow it will be easier. ^_^

I did more of my Japanese. I'm still looking up the kanji of the words I have down, and looking at verb forms. I finished going through the a's section that way. I've just started on i's again. They have too many forms! x_X
I also think it's odd that isha and sensei can both mean doctor. (Not sure if I posted about that before, but it's still weird.) I don't know why but the word for pond is interesting: ike.

In Nabari no Ou, I felt even more sorry for Yoite. He's really had a sucky life. The leader of the organization he's apart of basically used him. Yoite for some reason feels like he wants to erase his existence, but doesn't want to die. He kept saying when he was a little kid that everyone cursed his existence even his parents. Being accepted by Miharu has changed him somewhat, but he still thinks he should be erased. I can't believe they killed Raiko towards the end of the episode. I thought he was going the kill Hattori. Looks like Miharu's 'ability' will be awakened in the next episode. It's getting kind of interesting, although most of it has been. ;P

In Gintama it was more of Toshi's group against Shinpachi's. It was funny they found a 'foreigner' on the marathon they were running on and used him as one of Shinpachi's teammates. He didn't know any of the answers in the quiz show about Otsu, but accidentally answered them correctly. It was great! All he wanted to do was go to the bathroom, but since the pop idol has kind of a 'potty mouth' it went with the answers.

I drew a little today too. Actually I ended up drawing for almost 2 hours! I thought I was going to do it for like an hour. I was trying to get the anatomy of my character right, but it was incredibly hard for some reason. This character is looking off somewhere, a different kind of pose than the usual easy straight on shot. Also I managed to draw the cat in my how to draw manga book pretty well. Last time I did it I screwed up on it's paws. So, it was a jumbled mess. ;P

Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.

Hi! This was a hilarious quote! I'm doing much better health wise. It's been incredibly hot today. We're not used to this type of heat. :P It got up to 93 today! Wednesday is expected to be 99! I think we're going to fry! x_X My mom suggested that we should go to the mall and just sit in those chairs on Wednesday because they have air conditioning. Sounds actually nice. I'm sure I can bring enough things to keep me occupied, much better than staying at home without air conditioning.

Today, I started typing up a story. It's basically my manga's story. I thought, might as well write it down because it's going to be a while until I think I'm good enough to draw my manga. ^_^" This one is about my 'Alliance' manga. I'm thinking when I'm done with the first chapter, I'll post it on Deviantart. Again, I'm rcmacdonald on there. :D

On Nabari no Ou I found out that Aizawa is immortal. One of the past users of Hijutsu was a doctor and used it and decided to do experiments to figure out how to become immortal. He was from the Edo period. Through experimenting he made Aizawa. He was on of the few experiments that worked. By the way the cat that's always with Miharu is also one of those experiments. Aizawa has been traveling with this cat trying to find the next user, so he can get rid of the 'curse' of being immortal. He wants to finally experience death. Saying, life is meaningless without death.

For Japanese I looked at the kanji for a bunch of the words to see if it was correct. It was interesting. Also, copying and pasting huge tables of all the verb forms of some of the verbs. I'm slowly starting to understand some of the verb forms. The easiest ones are -masu, -nai, -nakkata, and some others. -masu is just a really polite form of the verb. -nai is the present negative version of the verb. Example, to not meet. -nakkata if I remember correctly is past negative. Example, didn't meet.

Our cat is really funny! She will go into the hottest places of the house and then look at us like why is it so hot? She knows it's cooler in other places. :P

A person should want to live, if only out of curiosity.

Hi! This is another Yiddish proverb. I feel a lot better today! I managed to get up early like I wanted to. There's only one thing that looks a little disturbing and that's the really nasty deep bruise on my right forearm. It's all dark green, and kind of hurts. I must have tried to brace myself when I hit my head and managed to hit my arm too.

I read more of Naruto. Is it just me or does Neji's seal on his forehead look different than the anime? I thought in the anime it was like an x, but in the manga it looks like the x is on it's side kind of like a plus with funky things coming off of it. I loved when Naruto fought Neji. Especially when he came though the ground at the end there. I'm glad they made Neji change his attitude towards life and people, he's much better to deal with after that. It's interesting that Naruto won against Neji. So, technically he really is a Chuunin. I guess because the village was attacked afterwards. It still isn't very fair to him. Shikamaru is always just awesome! I love him in both the manga and anime now. He acts almost care free, and is extremely smart. He was tricked into taking an IQ test by Asuma. He scored a 200! He doesn't want to be known as being smart, and thinks everything is 'troublesome', so Asuma told him everything is like the game of Shoji or Chess. This gets him to be somewhat motivated, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to do anything. I just realized the mangaka that created Naruto has been doing it for 10 years now! And it only gets better over time! At least that's what I think. ^_^"

I did more of my Japanese. This time I was trying to find definitions to all the verb forms. That took a while. They're I think the most complicated part of the language. Also, I looked more at sentence structure. I have to keep in mind they use Subject, Object, and Verb. English, it's Subject, Verb, Object.

My therapist told me to read a chapter in the book I know isn't working for me. I thought, hmmm... maybe this chapter is for me since she suggested it and I thought she understood my situation more. I read it, and it's all the things I know about already, nothing new to work on. So, I came to a conclusion, I'm going to stop therapy for now. What's the point in wasting time and money on something that's not working? So, I might go back to it some other time, but it will be a long time. I cancelled the appointment for this Wednesday online and told her why. Now, the only person I'll have to see there is my new psychiatrist, when they are there in August. Oh, and today is my last day on Effexor! So, starting tomorrow I'll go down to taking 1 pill twice a day. So, nice! :P

The heat for the week looks like it's going to be excruciating. Today, it's supposed to get up to almost 90. I was seeing temperatures in the mid to upper 90's for the rest of the week. Like, 97 as the highest. I feel like we're going to fry! o_0 Tasha our cat was overheating today, so we put her in a bathtub with cool water. She normally loves water, but she struggled a bit at the beginning. After a while she calmed down and sat for a bit in the water. After that she threw herself out of it and towards the door. It was kind of comedic. I grabbed her and we dried her a bit so she wasn't dripping everywhere, and let her out. She's been licking her fur since, but you can tell she's a lot happier now. ;P

I watched more of Nabari no Ou. They went to the ninja village of Koga. The whole village is like a university. Juuji kind of looks familiar, like someone from Bleach. I don't watch Bleach, but I think I saw her on something for it. She's a funny character too. Saying stuff like don't treat me like a child! Shijima resembles the person who talks to Miharu inside his head. She must be related, and that's what Miharu was thinking too. Kinjutsu is kind of cool being a healing scroll. It's no wonder everyone wants it.

On Gintama one of the episodes was about not being able to sleep. Kagura was awesome in this! She said things like what is the meaning of sleep? Do we go crazy if we don't? What's the meaning of the universe? And of course, I can't sleep, Gintoki do something! She switches futons with her, makes her go out for exercise, gives her lots of food, but nothing works. Finally she said I'll just listen to the radio. It was a story that seemed touching, and then at the end down right creepy. Of course this put her to sleep, but Gintoki couldn't sleep after that. The next episode was about Kyuubei's Birthday party. Since Kyuubei is going to be the head of her family soon, they have really rich people show up and 'commoners' are usually not invited. Gintoki and his friends decided to do things like play the game of Life. The one guy who is always down on his luck in real life actually wins the game. (Madao does, if you're curious. Madao actually means like loser in English.) :P Gintoki and his friends start to say they are the 'Birthday Fighters'. They fight to make it a real certified Birthday. Shinpachi thinks everyone is ruining the party, when in reality he is because of all the shouting and trying to stop things. Tojo actually invited Kyuubei's friends to get rid of these rich people. Kyuubei says later that it was the best birthday she's had.

I played Wizard defense on Flash Ninja Clan. It was actually kind of hard. I couldn't really figure it out, so I stopped playing it. I drew a bit today too! It seems I always draw animals really small. So, I still have to work on proportion and anatomy. I drew a girl, who looked like she just woke up with messed up hair.

Happiness is the ability to recognize it.

Hi! Well, I decided to put a quote as a title this time. Just to make it more interesting. This was by Carolyn Wells. Interesting. ^_^ I'm still feeling very sore, and have a HUGE headache. I'm just trying to take my pain killers. Hopefully I won't become addicted like I was a few years ago to Ibuprofen. Although, this is Naproxin, maybe it's slightly different? It's funny to feel the lumps on my head they're getting huge and they're kind of itchy. I'm trying my best not to scratch them. I finally sent out my letter to a Japanese penpal. I think she's been waiting awhile. The reason why it was so late was because we had to go out and buy an international stamp at the post office, and we never got around to it until today. Although, she took a much longer time to write. So, maybe it's ok. In hers she made a mini origami crane. It's kind of cool. I didn't really send anything extra though. Maybe she'll just be glad she got the letter. ;) It was my first letter to Japan! Sorry, but it's kind of exciting!

I actually finished typing up my long Japanese vocab list. I did about 4 rows including the most common phrases. Phrases like Sayonara and Gomennasai. (Which means: Goodbye (very polite way of saying it), and I'm sorry.) After a meal they say gochisousamadeshita, which is like I enjoyed my meal or thank you for the meal. It looks longer in Romaji than hiragana, it's kind of funny this way. So, hopefully tomorrow I can go over it again, and find the kanji for some of the words I don't have. Then, I can make sentences, and work on more grammar. Oh, joy! But, it's still fun to me! I'll probably add more words to these lists too. I like my system so far. ^_^

I watched more of Nabari no Ou. I really like that they made the advisor or teacher as a guy from Ireland. They had him making as they said 'braised beef with a Guinness broth'. Kind of cool they're showing at least a little of his heritage. Also, cool because I'm part Irish, in fact quite a large percentage of me is of Irish descent. I told my dad about it, and he said Guinness goes with everything, and it's the best. I don't like beer so I wouldn't really know. Also, I feel kind of bad for Yoite. He doesn't really want to be known for killing people and is second guessing the ninjas he works for. I like how Miharu's cat is really close to him and tries to warn him of things.

I didn't really have time to watch Gintama. :( I also was distracted by a game online about farming. You collect eggs from these really large chicken like birds. After you collect them, you eventually send it to a place that spews out powdered eggs. After that you make bread in another machine. Then, the bread is converted to like a cherry pie kind of thing in another machine. You can buy ostriches too, although all they help you with is their feathers give you lots of money. There's lions that pop out of no where that like to eat the birds. If you cage them up you can sell them for money too. Also, there's even an incubator for the birds. I think I spent like an hour and a half on it. =^_^= T'was very addicting! ;)

Silly Dishwasher!

Hi! Well, last night we watched Slumdog Millionaire. It was good, not sure if it was movie of the year type good though. I know the slums are depressing, but watching the stuff that goes on kind of gets to me and I don't like it. It was cool how he knew the answers they all related to his life in some way.

We have a messed up dishwasher! Gets me angry! >.< We loaded it up, and set it to clean. I didn't really look at the dishes and silverware and assumed they were clean and put them away. Later, I find out that there's this weird filmy stuff on everything I put away. Apparently someone had set up the dishwasher again after I had put things away. I looked at that stuff, and it was all dirty too. So, we had 2 loads of dishes and silverware that were dirty! So, my dad looked at it and said the drain was clogged with sardine bones. He unclogged it luckily, and let it drain. He had dumped all the sardine bones in the dishwasher after that sardine dinner, smart, real smart! Oh well, after a while everything was clean again. :P

I read more of Naruto. I didn't remember that Hayate had died so early in the story. I liked him a lot. He always looks like he's sick, but is an awesome ninja. Apparently not awesome enough, though. I also liked that all Naruto could summon at the beginning was a tadpole, not a frog. It's still hilarious! I think they might actually talk more about the 4th Hokage. In the anime it seems they haven't talked much about him. I'm kind of curious.

I found another anime that I could watch. It's called Nabari no Ou or King of Nabari. It's hilarious! It's about ninjas in a similar world as ours. Apparently the main character, Miharu, has like a "book" or something inside him that every ninja wants. It gives unlimited power to whoever gets it. I love Miharu's personality! He knows how to get his way. As they say he's like a little devil, that looks innocent on the outside. The way he was drawn kind of reminds me of the main character in Loveless. Very odd. The advisor to the club he has to join is hilarious too! He's afraid of riding on moving vehicles, and passes out if he's in them. He hates rain. Plus, he's from Ireland, which is kind of interesting. It seems a very promising anime, hopefully it will stay that way. :D

Gintama was great as always! At the beginning they acted like they were at a funeral. They basically said it was the "death" of the anime. All 3 of the main characters came up with different versions of what they thought the last episode should be. They even had an Evagelion parody. Towards the end, the mascot for the people who publish Gintama called "Shounen Jump" came out and said it's just the beginning. He yelled at them saying to the producers that they just ran out of ideas and needed more inspiration. Since this was the 150th episode they had a look back at some of the other episodes. It was awesome! ^_^

For Japanese I did the n's row and since there weren't many I started on the h's. I've typed up about 5 rows now. I'm breezing right through! Kind of nice. I like how they have one word for meow, moo, sing, etc. It's naku. It's funny, because I swear they have more words for those types of sounds. I'll have to look at that some time. What, is awesome looking in kanji, at least to me. It's 何 or nani. It looks almost like a house. :P Name is 名前 or namae. Part of it looks like a TV. Today is 日曜日 or nichiyoubi or Sunday. It's funny because it starts with the kanji for day and ends with it too. Talk is interesting too. It's 話 or hanashi. It actually looks like someone's talking on the side. :D My mother is 母 or haha. Funny, because ha means teeth. I think they're afraid of moms, or it's a don't miss with them kind of thing. ;)

My mom is still dizzy and is still using a cane. Apparently one of her meds isn't working anymore so things get to be a little too much for her at times. We're still waiting on the results. I hope we get it soon so we can do whatever is needed so she at least doesn't have to feel this way. Of course she feels really good at night, because she stopped taking Valium during the day and now takes it at night.
