This human was, interesting. She didn’t seem afraid of me in this form. Well she tried to hide it at least I could still sense a little fear from her. Though when we made it to the goddess I couldn’t tell if she was intimidated by how the goddess looked or what it was but she hid a bit behind me. I put my hand behind her back and pushed her forward then stood off to the side and placed my hands behind my back.
Candy…she was interesting. Of course this was my first time ever meeting a human. I didn’t know that they smelled like strawberries. I wasn’t particularly a fan of the fruit but I do enjoy the smell.
“Hello Candice.” Lady Amora spoke. She has such an elegant voice as she turned around to see us.
“H-How do you…” Candy started to ask, but my lady put a hand up to stop Candy from speaking.
“I’m a Goddess dear. I knew you were coming. You’ve already started making some choices as well.” She smiled at the human.
I rose and eye brow and flicked my ears. She started making choices? Doesn’t everyone make choices every day? I’m really confused about this. But I didn’t want to speak up considering I was probably still riding the line since I just got the necklace taken off a few months ago. If that damn narwhal didn’t provoke me I wouldn’t have bit him, then we wouldn’t have gotten into a fight and I wouldn’t have ended up breaking through a bunch of walls.
“So this really is…I mean I am actually in the game.” Candy said. Now I was really confused. What game?
Lady Amora smiled at her and nodded. “You’ve already met two. Talon and Snow; I believe it’s time for you to meet the others. They should be arriving shortly.”
“Lady Amora did you know that there’s…” Talon came barging into the room and stopped short when he saw Candy. A frown instantly appeared on his face. “What the hell is this? Why is there a human here?” He asked.
“Talon, she hasn’t hurt anyone.” I spoke up.
“Snow, why are you getting involved with this? I never asked for you to speak up.” Talon stated.
“I was just stating a fact, which reminds me why did you leave this defenseless girl alone in the woods?” I asked letting my hands fall to my sides from behind my back.
Before Talon could say something back to me there was a light knock on the door and I quickly turned my head to see Light the stag along with Lee the annoying narwhal come into the room. The only one that seemed to be “missing” and was more then likely hiding was Vic. But with there being a new person in the manor I’m sure that he wasn’t going to come out. It took years for him to even talk to me after I got here.
“You wished to see us Lady Amora.” Light spoke up with a slight bow after. Light was a white tail deer when he was in his animal form. He has more blonde then dirty blonde hair and orange eyes. Light wasn’t much taller then I was but he was strong, thought he grace didn’t quite show how strong he was. He was a spirit of light and peace. Kind of ironic with his name being light if you ask me.
Lee on the other hand was shorter then me. I was happy about that, if he was taller then me I don’t think that I would have ever heard the end of it. Of course I am younger then him so I still have some growing up to do, but who knows what will happen. Lee is a Narwhal anime spirit and the spirit or fun and tricks. He has grey messy hair with a long braid that ended to the bottom of his rib cage and chestnut brown eyes.
“Oh wow are you a human?” Lee exclaimed and ran over to Candy taking her hands in his.
“Um Y-yes.” She answered and I saw her cheeks flush.
I clenched my fists but bit my lip. He was too close for comfort for her. Yeah I couldn’t say anything because I got really close to her too, but ugh that stupid narwhal…
“Light where is Vic?” Lady Amora questioned softly.
“He’s probably hiding knowing him.” I commented crossing my arms over my chest.
“I’m sure that he’ll come around my lady. We’ll make sure that she get’s to meet him.” Light said.
“That’s wonderful.” The lady Amora looked over at me but I didn’t move from my slightly slouched position. “Snow you will be the one to protect her.”
Being a spirit of war and protection when she gave me that order it was like something clicked in my head and I straightened up and bowed to her. “Of course, my lady. I will protect her with my life.” I answered. She was playing a game I wonder what type of game that this human was playing. I guess now that I have to protect her I’ll have time to figure out what the game is.
“What? Why does Snow have to do it?” Talon retorted at the goddess obviously not pleased with what she said.
“Awe is someone mad they have to share their kitty cat?” Lee smirked at Talon.
“Just send her back home, she doesn’t belong here.” Talon said.
“Talon.” I said and he snapped his head to me. “I was told to protect her while she’s here. I’m sorry that means we won’t be able to hang out as much.” I told him calmly. Even if it was my best friend that I’ve made since I’ve been here in this manor I wasn’t going to let him hurt this human. She was mine to protect. She was my Candy.
