From different realms of reality and spaces, Ulquiorra curled and uncurled his fist. He felt blind, like a child expecting to be guided by an elder. Was not the goal of Lord Aizen to recapture Kita? His fraction. It didn't matter at this point who got Kita, as long as she was away from the dangerous words and feelings of the soul reaper.
In his silent, yet volatile musings Ulquiorra had managed to find himself in front of a mirror. Perhaps one of the few Los Noches was unlucky to have. Who spent time looking at the hideous things of this world? Surely not a grotesque creature such as a glorified hollow.
But there was something soothing about seeing the same pale, lifeless creature one was supposed to be. How the sinews fit together and the bones worked in tandem. And the fluid motions of the arm could be replicated. But there was something to that. A secret. A sacrifice. A small token to pay in return for an amenity such as a connection. However, now was not the time to rehash old things.
It was time to find the whole of Ulquiorra's arm. The one he willingly gave up to something he lost.
