Churchill Downs Acquires Chaser Poker Room
Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has completed a previous purchase of the Chasers Poker Room in Salem, New Hampshire. The purchase of Chasers was made following the approval of the transaction by the New Hampshire Lottery Commission.
Offering poker and a variety of table games, the Chasers are located about 30 minutes from downtown Boston. CDI plans to build an expanded charity gaming facility in Salem with up to 800 gaming locations, including historic racing machines (HRMs) and table games. The Oneida India Nation selected architecture and design company Gensler as its development partner for this expansion.
