Hello, everyone!

You have reached the rambling, the fangirling, and the general chill-pad of theOtaku's NightBeck, a.k.a Becky, a.k.a Crimson Lotus the Irish Ninja.

BREAKING NEWS!!!

(This is one of the few political posts you'll see me make.)

I VOTED, GUYS! For the first time! Or at least I just finished filling out my absentee ballot. Certain things felt oh-so-very-satisfying... I only wish I could do them again. And suddenly, it's all worth it.

Dear Rebecca,

Congratulations! You have been accepted conditionally to the Tokyo AS program for the spring 2009 term!

Sophia University retains the right to review all admissions in lieu of official acceptance by CIEE. Final approval will be assessed by Sophia and CIEE will notify you via e-mail in late November to early December.

In October you will receive an official CIEE acceptance e-mail that will provide instructions on how to access the acceptance materials through your on-line checklist. Once you receive that e-mail, you will need to return the completed materials to our office by the dates indicated on your checklist.

I will be your pre-departure contact here at CIEE and I will do my best to assist you while we prepare for your experience. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the program, please let me know.

Cheers,

Chris

... oh my god I GOT IN.
