A post of randomness and recs.

So basically I just read all 250+ chapters of 20th Century Boys within a week.

My head is kind of exploding right now, so I don't have any coherent thoughts, but I think I will. Eventually. Right now I'm just kind of like OMG CHOUNO and OMG OCCHO and OMG YOSHITSUNE and OMG DONKEY and even kind of OMG SADAKIYO (Sadakiyo why do I love you so) basically if you add OMG to one of the characters' names I'm having that reaction.

I TOLD YOU MY HEAD WAS EXPLODING.

Aaaand if you have no idea what I'm talking about, 20th Century Boys is the manga that Urasawa Naoki wrote after Monster. And the plot is even more epic than Monster and on about ten times more crack. And it's all on One Manga, so if you have a bit of your soul to spare, go check it out.

P.S: For the record, I like Monster better. But then again I like Monster better than everything, and I think that Urasawa Naoki can only compete with himself, so there you go. <3 PLUTO IS NEXT.

Okay that's enough Urasawababble. FOR NOW.

While we're on the subject of anime/manga, though: hee hee heeeeeeeee @ the first two Tales of the Abyss episodes. Way to be a total creeper as always, Van.

I actually got some writing done this weekend! First four pages of the next chapter, to be exact. :D Four pages that Cat's not in, actually. Who says I never cut him a break. As soon as I finish this paper, I'll be able to write some more - I have another paper due next week, but we also have a long weekend for Yom Kippur. Which means I can work on the chapter, maybe some prompt fics, and then there's a timed writing thing on Friday... ohh, how nice it is to write again. <3

And since Halloween's coming up, I'd like to recommend some of my favorite creepy reading material, The Dionaea House. It scared the crap out of me in high school, so I always like to spread the love.

... and what are you doing on the computer, Becky. Must read more Tales of Genji before class tomorrow. See y'all soon, hopefully with a writing post!
