So I guess I need one of these fancy dancy introductions. I am Valcron, this is my world. Metacom X is a small paradise meant for something I'm sure, but I still must create its purpose. You can help this by becoming active here as I become active! Hopefully.

Randomly I'll plug things, even random art from others, I highly suggest viewing anything I post, as if I deem it post-able, it's AWESOME BEYOND BELIEF-okay maybe not that, but it's definitely worth a look.

Don't touch that dial! We're still on the air, 24/7.

Free MMO? Sounds good!

Okay I am in full rant mode. Free MMOs. Everyone's making them. I'm sick of them. Why? Because it seems every week there's a new one everyone's flocking too, and forgetting about the one that came out LAST week.

Okay so example. I'm looking for a new MMO to get into because poor old World of Warcraft just doesn't satisfy. Well I don't want to pay anything so my only choice from there is to go free. Where do I go? The Asian market of course! So I sift through the literally 100's of MMOs there and find Perfect World.

Lemme rant on Perfect World for a second. This is a gorgeous game. For a free MMO? They put work into this. Real work. Just the way the armor shines makes me go "World of What?" (Hehe I so funny). The game has its own flaws no doubt, which is why I am still a WoW player and not a Perfect World player, but Perfect World is definitely a game to look at and try. Game play is alright, the effects are crisp and shiny, and you can even customize your character to unbelievable looks. You don't find this in free MMOs much at all. There are well over 50 hairstyles, and you can even apply one or two textures to them, and change the color to nearly any hue! How awesome is that? Quite if I say so myself. Look the game up. It's getting an English version (A TRUE English version might I add) soon, so definitely look it up.

Okay back to ranting. I picked Perfect World up for a bit when it was in beta in Malaysia, and liked it a bit. It was definitely not perfect, but it was effective in what it did. Well suddenly ... A new MMO comes. Who's the new kid? Dream of Mirror Online. Now it's Perfect what? World of What? Oh right. Dream of Mirror Online. I try it. Meh. No-where near Perfect World or World of Warcraft caliber. So I abandon it and go back to World of Warcraft and Perfect World.

BUT WAIT! There's someone else now! Who else could it be but (I forget the name, the game just wasn't that significant.)!! Let's try it and forget about World of What, Perfect What, and Dream of What Online! It's A NEW GAME. Sucked. Back to World of Warcraft, and some Perfect World on the side.

ONOZ WAIT WAIT WAIT. Plz? Some other game wants your attention too! It's (Again, not significant enough to even remember the name, I can barely remember the gameplay it was that bad.)!! Let's try it as well and forget about everyone else! Nothing.

The point I'm trying to make here is this: Find a game, and stick with it. Don't be super wishy-washy and go "Ooooh this one is so shiny I'll play it now." "OOOOH This one is so super more shiny so I'll play it now!". Find a game, play it, stick with it. Switching games every 2 weeks just because a new one is out and is "a little more shiny" is silly. It's downright silly.

Are you too picky (Almost like me, believe me if I don't like a game, I'll let you know.) and just can't seem to find the right free MMO? Here's a good suggestion. Find some other genre of game to play. Obviously if you can't find a good MMO to play, maybe you shouldn't play MMOs. All they do is eat up your social life and take it away anyways.

Am I done? Heck no. I'll never be done. I could rant on this all day and night if I could but I'm not. I'm out for now. Go find an MMO if that's your thing, but please, PLEASE if it appeals to you, stick with it. Don't abandon it as soon as a newer, shinier game comes out.

Storm's coming it. Later ya'll.

Real rant time D:(

Okay, get ready, this is the real deal. This IS a touchy subject, that I'm sure will earn me a few enemies, but I'm one to not care. It's about comments (Praise namely), and comment's big brother: criticism. It's natural for people to gi...
