I got hate once on one of my stories because the final pairing wasn't the one that person wanted... Hilarious!
I would take it with a grain of salt. It would probably make me a little excited, too, but most of all it would probably annoy me a little that this person, who's trying to be a douche bag to you, is such an idiot, haha. Who actually puts "if that's a word" in their hate mail. That makes them look like a fool, haha. Or better yet, a "looser". Lmao.
