F&H Chapter 3- Detention?

Feathers and Hogwarts

Authors note: This story was written by me five years ago, so keep that in mind while reading. It has that good ol' Tsubasa feel to it that you may recognize to be from book five and previous. This is also written before the sixth or seventh books of Harry Potter came out. Harry Potter and his gang have already graduated during the time this story takes place. I do not own Tsubasa nor do I own the Harry Potter series. Enjoy!
(Recap: Fai and Kurogane arrive to their new office as co-professors of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class (DATDA). Syaoran is sorted into Griffindor, and Sakura is placed in Hufflepuff. Now, Syaoran must make new friends and still communicate with the gang!)

Chapter 3- Detention?

Syaoran and the other Griffindors were led by their prefect to the common room. They stopped in front a portrait depicting a rather large woman.

"Cherry Blossoms," the prefect answered, when the picture asked for a password. Great, Syaoran thought. That password won't be hard to forget. Syaoran subconsciencely walked over to Ino, Sakura Haruno, and Rukia."Hello," Syaoran said.

"Hi Syaoran," they answered back.

"What are you guys doing?"

Rukia picked up one of the five books that were spilled onto the ground, each opened to a different page. "Well," she said, "Ino was able to grab some books on qudditch from her luggage, and we're looking through them now. You see, we want to try out for the team. What about you?"

He blinked. It was there again, that weird word:quidditch. Rukia smiled sadly. "I hear they are allowing first years to try out. I wish it could have been that way last year when I was one!"

Syaoran shrugged. "I probably wouldn't be any good, since I've never played."

Ino shook her head. "Don't think that way. Famous Harry Potter, the one who defeated you-know-who, was accepted as a quidditch seeked his first year-- and when he went to hogwarts that was unheard of! So who knows, maybe if you try out you can earn a place on the team!"

Syaoran thought about it and decided that this sport might be a fun use of his time, if he was going to be here awhile. "How do you play?"
