1. What anime(s) are you currently watching?
Nothing, but I've downloaded Shingeki no Kyojin roughly a month ago planning to watch it eventually tomorrow. Since a month ago.
No, wait, I lie. I'm watching Sailor Moon Crystal.
2. Who are some of your all time favorite characters?
Vash (Trigun), Alucard (Hellsing TV), D (Vampire Hunter D).
3. Are you looking forward to the new anime coming out in October and the months ahead?
I have no idea what's coming up.
4. Have you heard of or seen Tokyo Ghoul/DRAMAtical Murder/Free? If yes to either, what do you think?
Have heard of all, watched/played none. The scans/CGs are awesome, though, would like to do something with them one day.
5. Have you ever watched an anime you were wrong about, for example, ended up hating or loving... contrary to your initial impression?
Thought I'd like Seto no Hanayome, was bored midway and dropped it. Same goes for Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, too repetitive.
6. Do you have any favorite opening or ending songs from any anime? The more you list, the better!
"Logos Naki World" (Hellsing TV), "Morning Grace" (Princess Tutu) and "Moonlight Densetsu" (old Sailor Moon).
7. Do you know what a visual novel is? Do you like or play any visual novels?
Yes, but I've never played one. Someone tried to get me to, but it was too much hassle and I don't understand Japanese XD

o I just finished Deadman Wonderland and I am currently watching Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo.
o Hm, that's a hard one since I usually like characters associated pre series. Let's see, one of my favorites are both Spike and Jet from Cowboy Bebop, all three main characters from Daily Lives of Highschool boys, Kaiki from Monogatari series, Horo from Spice and Wolf, Ryƫji and Taiga from Toradora, Kuroneko from Oreimo, Byakuya from Bleach, Walter from Hellsing and many more...
o Actually I still have to check the new ones that are about to come. It seems that always when I want to start fresh with a new season I get caught up with older anime, haha.
o I still haven't seen it, but I have heard mixed to positive reactions based on it. Overall it seems like a fresh show in its genre and a one that I might enjoy from what I have seen.
o Actually I haven't heard much about that one, I will have to check it out.
o Ah, not really an anime for me. I mostly heard good things about it though. :)
o Hard to say, I like to give everything a chance, but I maybe could not watch those with really hardcore themes that are aimed, let's just say, to special public who might enjoy them.
o Oh yes, School Days for example. I accidentally stumbled upon it, not even knowing the infamous hate-love glory it had. I just found the name very simple and also though that it is going to be a very simple anime, which it was for the first five or so episodes. But later... oh, I was so wrong.
o Some of them being Cowboy Bebpop opening, Sound of the Sky opening, Elfen Lied opening, Ghost in the Shell opening, second Death Note opening, first Sword Art Online opening, Maria Holic opening, Lucky Star opening, Spice and Wolf (all openings and endings), all three of Dragon Ball series openings, Clannad opening and endings, Devil May Cry opening, Hellsing opening, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei all opening and endings, Paranoia Agent opening and many more to even list...
It is kind of dead here in terms of submissions and activity, but I'm lurking about and still alive! (I just haven't done much around here, haha.)
I'm going to answer these too, so this should be fun. It's been a bit since I did a comment meme like this. xD
1.) What anime(s) are you currently watching?
-- I'm currently watching: Ao Haru Ride, Sailor Moon Crystal, Sword Art Online 2, Persona 4 Golden Animation, Tokyo Ghoul, and Gurren Lagann.
2.) Who are some of your all time favorite characters?
-- You can see my list [HERE] xD
3.) Are you looking forward to the new anime coming out in October and the months ahead?
-- I am! Although, there are only very few that catch my interest, with the others being sequels to previous seasons that I've never seen or haven't watched yet. I want to check out Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de, since its by Studio Trigger, and they've become one of my favorite production companies. I also want to see Psycho Pass 2, when I watch the first season sometime later.
As far as movies go, I'm looking forward to watching Persona 3 The Movie - Spring of Birth #2: A Midnight Summer's Dream as well as Attack on Titan: Crimson Bow and Arrow.
As for OVA's, I'm anticipating the Kill la Kill Special, Watamote OVA, and Attack on Titan: No Regrets OVA.
Those are all pretty much it, but unless I find something else new this season that catches my attention later, I'll watch it!
4.) Have you heard of or seen Tokyo Ghoul? If yes to either, what do you think?
-- Yes, I'm watching it right now! Initially, I thought the beginning was pretty okay-ish. I honestly expected for it to be more shocking, but it was a bit predictable at some points. I wanted to change what I thought about it since I wanted to enjoy it as much as possible, so I decided to stick with it for the next episodes, and now, I think it's pretty good so far now that's its gone further in, and it leaves me excited to see the next episode for next week! I don't plan on reading the manga any time soon, but I will eventually, since I heard that there were some important things cut, so it'll be nice to go back and see what wasn't included. Sadly, I got spoiled by accident, and it wasn't something I was ready to find out yet, so that kinda bothered me, but oh well, I'm sure I'll probably forget once the anime gets to it. xD
5.) Have you heard of or seen DRAMAtical Murder? If yes to either, what do you think?
-- I've heard of it MANY times, and I want to watch the game first before moving on to the anime, since I've heard alot of not very great things about the anime.
6.) Have you heard of or seen Free!? If yes to either, what do you think?
-- I've heard of it MANY times, buuuut I dunno. I'm kind of iffy on watching it for some reason. I think it just got too overhyped and I sorta turned away from it. I might watch it later on sometime though.
7.) Are there any anime you simply would not give a chance? Why?
-- Hmm... I don't think I haven't. It's either I watch them or I don't, since I can be pretty picky choosey with my animes. xD
8.) Have you ever watched an anime you were wrong about, for example, ended up hating or loving... contrary to your initial impression?
-- I know you may have heard me say it in the past, but definitely Kill la Kill. At first, I thought it was nothing but a fanservice anime, but after some convincing from my friends and finishing up a few other animes, I just decided to go ahead and watch it on my own. I never would've thought I'd end up loving it so much, to be honest. The "fanservice" is all apart of the action and the story, BUT once you find out the reason for it, it'll really make you think. It has a very deep underlying moral to it all and it was interesting to see it portrayed that way.
I know it also gets alot of hate (my little sister hates it), because of some things that people found to really dislike in it, which is understandable, but really, it's all about paying attention to the story and having an open mind with good judgement. And yes, it is possible to overlook the "fanservice" while still paying attention to it and the story at the same time. For most, I suppose one distracted and derailed everything for people, than the other, which I personally think they ruined it for themselves, but oh well.
9.) Do you have any favorite opening or ending songs from any anime? The more you list, the better!
-- I do! I have quite a bit, and some can't seem to come to mind, but I'll make a list of the ones that I do like.
Some of my favorites:
"Almateria" (Tales of Symphonia Animation)
"Tenkuu no Canaria" (Tales of Symphonia Animation)
"Tethe'alla ~Tai no Kodomo Tachi~" (Tales of Symphonia Animation)
"Karma" (Tales of the Abyss Animation)
"Blaze" (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle)
"It's" (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle)
"Loop" (Tsubasa Reservoir Chonicle)
"Maji Love 1000%" (Uta no Prince-sama)
"Maji Love 2000%" (Uta no Prince-sama)
"Kanon" (Uta no Prince-sama)
" Watashi ga Motenai no wa Do Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui" (Watamote)
"Staple Stable" (Bakemonogatari)
"Sugar Sweet Nightmare" (Bakemonogatari)
"Guren no Yumiya" (Attack on Titan)
"Jiyuu no Tsubasa" (Attack on Titan)
"Sirius" (Kill la Kill)
"Ambiguous" (Kill la Kill)
"Daisy" (Kyoukai no Kanata)
"This Game" (No Game No Life)
"Crossing Field" (Sword Art Online)
"Never Say Never" (Dangan Ronpa Animation)
"Innocent Sorrow" (D.Gray-Man)
"Doubt & Trust" (D.Gray-Man)
"Gekidou" (D.Gray-Man)
--That's pretty much it, but I know I missed alot. xD
10.) Do you know what a visual novel is?
-- Yes, I do!
11.)Do you like or play any visual novels?
-- YAAAAS. I especially love the BlazBlue series. They are fighting games, but they are considered to be visual novel games as well. I'm also looking forward to getting Xblaze: Code Embryo, since it's also a visual novel, being a slight prequel to the BlazBlue series, made by the same developers! There's also a sequel already coming out for Xblaze when I haven't gotten the chance to play the first one yeeeet. D:
Those questions were a fun way to kill time! Thanks!
Watching: I'm mostly focused on Sailor Moon Crystal and the original SAO, but I'm also ebbing away at Naruto Shippuden, Inuyasha, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Favorite characters: Too many to name! Besides, I think you know mine anyway.
New anime: Honestly, I don't know. I'm not on top of those things very much.
I have heard of the three anime that you mentioned, but I don't have much interest in seeing any of them.
The only anime I probably wouldn't ever want to see is the pornographic stuff. And anything with shock value just for the sake of shock value.
Anime I was wrong about: This is a two-part answer.
A recent example would be Attack on Titan. I really thought I wouldn't like it, but I became absolutely addicted. For an anime that didn't (and couldn't) cover much of the manga, it was very satisfying.
Contrarily, an anime that I thought I'd like, but didn't, was Fruits Basket. The setup was good, but the plot didn't seem to go anywhere. I'm debating whether or not I should read the manga. At least I know that it has an ending.
Openings and endings: I should make a World post about this.
Visual novels: I kind of know what they are, but I don't know much about them. From that answer, I guess you could assume that I've never played/read one.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
Yeah but my posts are pretty boring and lifeless now so there's not really much.
In terms of art, yeah, that's just not my strong suit but I understand how you feel.
* Currently keeping up to date with One Piece and Fairy Tail, haven't started anything new for a while as I have been watching 'real' tv like True Blood and such.
* Too many to choose from! No really I have pages worth and there is a character limit in these comments!! >.<
* Never really paid attention to new anime as I generally wait for the whole season to finish before I download it (I get impatient waiting for a new episode each week dammit!) or I wait until its dubbed.
* Yes I have heard of it and SWEET LORD I WANT TO WATCH IT. It sounds like something exactly up my alley! I love gore and horror! XD
* Heard of it... that's about it though. Is that the one that has the guy with the cockatoo? Why does he have that bird?!?!!!
* Heard of it, downloaded it.... will watch at some point.
* Anything that has been created for little kids. Plus I don't really care for yaoi or hentai, I don't judge people who do like that hey mate fill your boots, its just not my thing.
* I don't read reviews so I never really go into an anime expecting to much, that way if its bad Im not too let down and if its good its really great!
* I'm a sucker for jazz so the openings to Baccano and Cowboy Bebop will forever be my favourites ♥
* Yes.
* Never played one before, I have to much anime to watch!
Thank you so much for answering! Oooh I agree with you about Free!
Oh, and if you have any questions that are DRAMAtical Murder related, feel free to ask me! :)
Oh, goody! Questions~ °V°
° There are just a lot that I'm currently watching. However, Kill La Kill is an anime that I'm trying to finish watching before moving on to other anime that have been completed.
° Of all time? Well~ (Not in order):
- Edward Elric, Greed the Homunculus, Ling Yao (Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood)
- Clear (DRAMAtical Murder)
- Sonic the Hedgehog, The Chaotix (Sonic X)
- Megaman, Bass (Megaman NT Warrior)
- Hatake Kakashi (Naruto)
- L (Death Note)
- Nanase Haru, Matsuoka Rin (Free!)
- Levi Heichou, Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan)
- Soul Eater Evans, Black*Star (Soul Eater)
- ... And much more *w*
° Oh, yes indeed. I can't wait to see which anime will be exciting to watch~
° I've heard of Tokyo Ghoul and I'm quite interested in it. It sounds like it has a good story-line. Sadly, I have yet to watch it.
° I've been keeping up with DRAMAtical Murder and I love it. I love the characters and the story-line. The problem is that I have a lot of questions, and many of them are still unanswered. I guess I'll have to wait and see~
° I've been keeping with Free! and omg I love it~ The characters are perfect, the story is perfect, the feels are perfect... EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT *Shot*
° Yes, there has been a few... Couple of which are Highschool of The Dead and Highscool DxD... Simply because they have ecchi and I don't like that. Their stories are not interesting to me, either.
° Yes, there were anime that I first hated, but now love it so much... Examples: Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood and Dragonball~
° Oh my goodness XD:
- Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood (mainly the FMA version)
- Attack on Titan
- Black Butler
- Death Note
- Kill La Kill
- Free!
° Yes, I do.
° I would, but getting the good ones/ones I like take too much time :/
This was fun~ ^_^ Thanks for coming up with the questions :)

"Terror" is chilling and beautiful at the same time. XD I have only seen up to episode 2 so far! It's got some great visual people at the helm, and Yoko Kanno does the music!

Thank you for the answers!
Honestly, I had the same opinion of Madoka Magica as you, I really did not want to watch it, but after the 3rd episode or so, I loved it!
1. I'm not currently watching anything. But I am currently reading a lot of manga.
2. Rurouni Kenshin, Vampire Hunter D, and I'm a fan of Watanuki from Xxx Holic
3. I don't usually follow the anime season… I'm terrible. But I always check and see if anything looks especially cool or something I recognize. I haven't looked for fall yet tho…
4. Yes. I've read about half of whats out online and I keep meaning to go binge read the rest. I enjoy what I've read so far I can't speak for the anime though.
5. I don't know this one… Which is rare!
6. Yes I know of Free. I have not watched it, except a handful of hilarious amvs. I not a fan of sports anime…
7. Hmmm An anime I wouldn't even give a chance? I can't think of any… Even bad anime of my favorite manga series I usually at least watch a little of. Although I do not care for nor will I go back and watch the Tsubasa Chronicles anime… it just wasn't very good and filled with filler.
8. I kept hearing great things about Madoka Magica. But I just DID NOT wanna watch a magical girl anime… Finally I gave in and the first 2 episodes were.. ug! But I pushed on, and sure enough, it was bloodly awesome!!
9. oooh… I love the Cowboy Bebop opening, The Descendants of Darkness opening both makes me laugh, (fax machine of dooooom!) but it also is very intense and cool. The Cromartie High School is just so ridiculous its amazing and Sayonara Zebutsu Sensei's opening theme song is intense horror with cool animation but the actual series is a comedy that has literally nothing to do with the opening, so thats always fun to me too.
10. Yep
11. Not really. I would but hunting down good ones takes too much time.

Woah, that's a lot of questions!! XD
What anime(s) are you currently watching?
SAO II, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun (Gekkan Shojo Nozaki-kun), Free!: Eternal Summer, Terror in Resonance (Zankyo no Terror) -- that's most of them.
Who are some of your all time favorite characters?
Kenshin (RurouKen), Tsukasa (.hack//SIGN), Toboe (Wolf's Rain), Lag (Letter Bee), Hinata (Naruto), Rain (Immortal Rain), Sho (Whistle!) I like Kirito but I don't know if he'd make the favorites of all time list yet -- oh, and Tomoya and Nagisa and Yuki (Fruits Basket) are up there, too
Are you looking forward to the new anime coming out in October and the months ahead?
I haven't heard/read much about the new series coming out.
Have you heard of or seen Tokyo Ghoul? If yes to either, what do you think?
Heard of it, yes; seen it, no. Too horror/gore-fest for me.
Have you heard of or seen DRAMAtical Murder? If yes to either, what do you think?
Heard of it, yes; seen it, no. I'm not a yaoi person.
Have you heard of or seen Free!? If yes to either, what do you think?
Yes and yes. It's fun. ^^
Are there any anime you simply would not give a chance? Why?
Any with (lots of) explicit sex or over-the-top violence/gore.
Have you ever watched an anime you were wrong about, for example, ended up hating or loving... contrary to your initial impression?
I thought Skip Beat sounded stupid and later found out that it was HILARIOUS. XD
Do you have any favorite opening or ending songs from any anime?
"Cloud Age Symphony" & "Over the Sky" (Last Exile)
"Obsession" & "Gentle Dawn" (.hack//SIGN)
"Broken Wings" (Trinity Blood (even though I've never seen it))
"Suna no Oshiro" (Vampire Knight)
"The Light Before We Land" (Gunslinger Girl)
"Aru ga Mama" (Nabari no Ou)
"Fantasy" (UN-GO)
"Wired Life" (Blue Exorcist (even though I've never seen it))
"Yakusoku wa Iranai" (Escaflowne (even though I've never seen it))
"Dango Daikazoku" (Clannad)
"My Soul, Your Beats" (Angel Beats)
Do you know what a visual novel is?
Yes, but I've never played one.

Ooooh sorry, I know you post here pretty often. I just meant it's quite here in terms of the art being submitted ^^"
Thanks for answering! It was pretty interesting to read and I found it really interesting that Annie is one of your favorite characters... I don't see that very often!
Well for a dead person, I'll answer your questions simply before resigning.
Ahem.
1. For now I'm watching "Gun Gale Online" (Season 2 of "Sword Art Online"), "Naruto: Shippuden," "RWBY" (although some don't classify it as a legit anime), and I'm waiting for "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure" to finish on Crunchyroll then I'll watch all three seasons.
2. Of all time? Including but not limited to:
Itachi Uchiha
Madara Uchiha
Kapitan Balalaika
Annie Leonhart
Commander Hange
(No faves from Gurren Lagann yet)
Kirito/Kazuto
Haruko Haruhara/Raharu Haruhara
Yang Xiao Long
Jotaro Kujo
the list goes on
3. Not really, no. I feel like I need to do some cleaning up on what I watch before I get into anything new...Unless its incredible.
4. I have heard of Tokyo Ghoul and I hear its awesome. That and Akame Ga Kill. I look at reviews of them for now, I'm not sure if I will watch them or not yet.
5. I have, but I don't intend on looking at it any time soon.
6. Yes I've heard of it, but it doesn't seem like something I'd like to watch.
7. Only a few but I can't think of anything by name. Other than "Bleach" I tried that once and it really didn't work out well.
8. Yep. I thought "Strike the Blood" would be nice but in the end it just wasn't entertaining enough. Plus it reminded me too much about "Vampire Knight"
9. Oh yes there are a multitude of brilliant OPs and EDs that I think you should listen to if you have the chance.

Thanks!

My turn!

IDK, I just like answering stuff.

I too am bored so I choose to answer your poll!
* Yes.
* Never played one before, I have to much anime to watch!

Ooooh poll!
Hope that wasn't insanely boring!

Kenshin (RurouKen), Tsukasa (.hack//SIGN), Toboe (Wolf's Rain), Lag (Letter Bee), Hinata (Naruto), Rain (Immortal Rain), Sho (Whistle!)
I like Kirito but I don't know if he'd make the favorites of all time list yet -- oh, and Tomoya and Nagisa and Yuki (Fruits Basket) are up there, tooAre you looking forward to the new anime coming out in October and the months ahead?

10. Yeah--the term is quite self-explanatory.
11. Nope.
