If you two save enough money you may be able to get a bigger room. It is 3.050$. Boy, those constrain workers are so pricey! And again, if your status is high I will pay one for you. ........my room T.T

As I sat alone in my silent pondering, time seemed to speed by...I was suddenly snatched from my daze however, seized by the notes of a wondrous melody. It was coming from the string music room...which I happened to be sitting right above...the harp...while it couldn't match 'her' playing...it was really quite good. Very close even...such a beautiful...melody.

-She laughed at me...the way I sat in awe after she'd finished playing. Every single time she played for me, I was always left dumbfounded. A loss of words...of any emotion at all. Her music which filled the heavens was much too perfect...just like her. My beautiful Melody. Her golden brown hair, emerald jade eyes...and her smile. The one seemed reserved for me, and me alone. I loved all of her, for not only did she have her beauty and music...but she was also very wise. She often spoke to me in the matters of the heavens. Deliberating over and discussing their validity. She was always curious as to whether something was RIGHT or WRONG...at first I hadn't understood...but after listening for long enough...I too began to hold my doubts.

"Melody, how is it that you can see what even I cannot?" I questioned her as we stood on the balcony overlooking the magnificent garden of my home. It had been constructed for her, but I found even It was no match for her beauty. Lightly my index finger brushed back a strand of her hair, gently twirling it as it gleamed goldenly in the sunlight.

"Even I don't know that answer silly..." She smiled grasping my hand and forcing it to her cheek. "All I know is that I was taught to trust in my instinct. To have my own beliefs...and to follow them...my dear sister...she taught me all that I know...."

A slight sadness filled her eyes, and I aimed to change the subject. Her sister had incited a war in the heavens, and had thus been banished. It was unknown as to whether she'd survived, or if she'd actually been executed. All I knew, was that Melody looked up to her sister all her years, and loved her deeply. "There's something I have to tell you..."-

My reminiscing was cut short...for the harp came to an abrupt halt. I had lingered there far too long anyway. Standing up, I flew away from my perch, back to my room. I would just have to make a brief stop...to prepare myself for the demon classes. I opened my door...blinked...then CLOSED my door.

I stood there motionless...unable to comprehend if I had really just SAW what I thought I saw...A slight twitch of my eye and I opened the door once more. Walking inside...there was utter chaos. Total destruction...and a stench in the air. Upon closer inspection, I found the source...blood on the walls... "'I am back for all eternity' huh?" I read aloud walking up to the nearest writing. Taking my finger, I rubbed off a bit, and shifted it between my forefinger and thumb. "And fairly fresh..." I mumbled. "Whoever did this was very cautious. They managed to hide their life energy while they committed this crime, however, they cannot hide from me. There's only one who would seek to make such a statement...just what does he wish to accomplish by this?"

Walking into my bathroom, I washed the blood from my hands with slight disgust. And now...I was getting a headache. This was really not the best time for me to walk into a room full of DEMONS...in fact, the timing couldn't be worse. Yet, I had made a pledge...I would follow it. In the meantime...I would just have to suppress any urges I may acquire to "kill"...though...placing an angel in a room with their natural enemy...well...that was asking a lot. "Let's hope Able's naive faith in me...wasn't ill-placed."

I walked into the hall and off to my next class. "Oh yes...and I suppose I'll be needing a new room...good thing I don't keep anything of any "real" value here..." I muttered with slight irritation.

Kira: TT^TT First ROKU...and now your room is destroyed!! Oh Raph...I think someone's out to get you!!

Raphael: Nonsense Miss Kira...I'm sure that's not the case. >.>' Just coincidence I'm sure...

Kira: How can you be so positive...

Raphael: ^-^ Because if I'm not POSITIVE...then I believe I'll totally go insane...that's how... *big smile*

Kira: O.e....okay....I got ya....

Distance

I arrived in Brenin's classroom following my third class, the fourth period of the day for angels. It was the beginning of fifth period now, and neither Brenin nor I had a class, therefore this would be the ideal time to cast the spell. I watched as Brenin shook his head behind his podium as I entered.

"Something amiss?" I asked upon entering.

"Hah, what isn't? My first classes are a bunch of wimpy angels....uh...no offense Sinclair...and now...I run into a face from the past. I just can't get over how crazy this day just keeps getting..." He mumbled. Then jolting upright, got straight back to business. "The Spell, what needs to be done?"

"Please step outside for a moment. It won't take me long." I stated calmly examining the room. Brenin did as I asked, and I began to mumble the correct words. It took mere seconds, a flash of white light...and that was it. The room now shut out any and all special abilities. Only one's TRUE talent would be acceptable within these four walls. "Brenin, it's clear now..." I called out since he didn't come right back.

"Well, you weren't exaggerating when you said it wouldn't take long."

"I do not exaggerate. You'd do well to remember this." I affirmed before leaving him to his class.

Later on that day, we were called to a short meeting of the teachers. I'd arrived first with Grim, only to find Able collapsed on the ground. Or so we had thought. He had merely been relaxing...how very irresponsible. The meeting was over whether we'd agreed the students should go to take care of the dispute in the nearby town or not. I had no problem with it, it could very well develop their team skills, as well as measure their physical and magical capabilities. I was about to make my stand known...when Roku finally decided to show up.

I could smell him before he even approached...drenched in thick fresh blood. I turned to see my senses confirmed...the horrendous blood covered sight he was. And wearing a huge smirk to boot. I sneered at him. Right before I started feeling slightly nauseous. It disgusted me...every time I caught a hint of that smell...it forced me to recall....no!

"If you'll all excuse me, I have a bit of business to attend to before my next lessons." I stated, holding back the sickness. "I approve of the students going on this expedition. Not to worry Able, we shall all be there to protect them. I doubt very highly that there should be any casualties."

With that I walked away. After I got a couple feet from the group, I leapt into the air and flew off. Gaining quite a distance from that disgusting smell. I landed on the rooftop of one of the music rooms, sat down...and just took deep breaths. I tried to erase the memories that threatened to flood my mind...I didn't want to remember any of it...any of the crimson flow that had flooded even my hands. The hands of an emissary of God.

Everything that I'd been ordered to perform...it meant nothing compared to what I'd done. All in his name...

I remained silent...lost in my own thoughts and in no mood for conversation.

Raphael

Kira: poor Raph...*rubs his back* Now I see why you want to keep an eye on Roku...
Raphael: That's really not necessary Miss Kira...-_-'
Kira: Aw...it's okay...
Raphael: (thinks:she's treating me like a child...)) -_-''

-You may go ahead with ur plan Kills! X3

First Classes...and a Request?

As the classroom slowly filled with students, I went over the lesson plan in my mind once more. I had decided not to really give out any work today, focusing mainly on introductions, and letting them know the rules of my class. Any transgressions would NOT be tolerated...therefore I wanted them to know straight away just WHAT their boundaries were...which lines NOT to cross.

The first student of real 'mention' was close to one of the first students to enter. I had still been pacing when as I turned, my eyes met the gaze of the student. His eyes were a brilliant indigo hue, and had managed to keep their glittering luminance despite him being one of the fallen. I doubted I would've been able to tell had I not nearly been amongst the 'fallen' myself....yet as it stood...part of me wondered what tragedy had caused one so young to lose their faith.

"Good Morning Sir." He greeted giving me a slight bow, then turning, took a seat in the front row closest to the window.

It wasn't much longer 'til my classroom was filled, so I began.

"A Good Morning to you all, Angels of Class A." I greeted. "My name is Raphael et Sinclair, and starting today, I am your homeroom teacher. Any question should be directed to me first, so please all of you, don't go rushing off to administration on a whim. I will go ahead and take a brief roll-call, and then we shall set up the seating arrangements properly. I would prefer to keep this as orderly as possible, so keep the immature behavior to a minimum will you. I will warn you right now, I have NO tolerance for it."

Just as it seemed I finished the roll call, I heard the door open quietly. Slowly as I looked up from behind my desk, I could see him slinking towards the back of the room. "Mr. Meridan Uzuke!" I called out loudly. He was the only student not present, therefore it was only logical to assume that was him. "You're late!"

"Sorry dude." He stated as he turned around.

"Sit Down Meridan. And do not call me 'dude'. " I ordered.

"Sorry sir..." He responded and quickly took a seat...slumping down.

"Now, for those of you who missed my name..." I looked directly at Meridan. "I am Raphael et Sinclair. Do not forget that name. If you are ever in need of assistance, it can be a great asset to you." I smiled a bit, then got back to the matter at hand. The seats had been organized previous to Meridan entering, as flustered as he was...he'd chosen just a random seat. "Meridan, come take the seat behind Skylar, I want to fill in the empty seats here." He did as he was told quickly. "Now then, where you are all sitting now...these are your permanent seats. Make sure you remember them."

They were all very well behaved, so far I had no complaints in the slightest. This was quite easy. Now to go over the rules...I would make this quick. "The rules of my class are VERY simple. Abide by the rules set down by the Academy, do not be disrespectful to your schoolmates, or to me, and take your lessons seriously. That's pretty much all." I then looked at all of them, to invoke a final warning. "Don't worry, I'll be sure and let you know if you've done something wrong." Almost as if on cue, the bell rang signifying the changing of class. "You are all excused."

I took a deep breath...my first class had gone alright...it really wasn't difficult in the slightest...part of me wondered if the rest of the year would truly be so simple...especially when the students started receiving missions.

During my third period, I suddenly heard the door to my class open once more. Thinking it was another late student, I cast a slight glare...but found Brenin instead. He looked at me...then at the students...then back to me...

"Uh, You busy?" He spoke bluntly.

I resisted a smart remark and began my walk to him. "Just a moment class." Stepping out into the hall with him I closed the door behind me. "Is there something I can help you with?"

"Why else did I come to you?" He began. "I need to know if you're capable of placing an area spell on my classroom. I want the students powers completely sealed while they're in my class. They need to learn how to fight off of their own strength...they can't depend on their magic all the time."

"Interesting." I deliberated. "Of course I'm capable, why else did you come to me." I rebuked wittily. "When my classes are through, I'll perform the spell. It'll only take a moment. It'll probably be somewhere around fifth period. Alright?"

"Yeah that's fine." Brenin accepted and started to walk off. "Thanks a lot there...uh...Sinclair."

I got back inside...to find Class C just as quiet and obedient as they possibly could be...they were angels...it was to be expected...though I slightly began to feel an unease as I thought about the other races. Most especially...the demons...

See, it's not so bad...Raph's class seems simple!! Except for the fact that he's a stickler for the rules. XD LOL

School is off to a Start at last!

It had been no use...the paperwork was too much...Grim hadn't even allowed me NEAR Able's chambers. Well, if it had to be done, then so be it.

Finishing up all of my other miscellaneous tasks, I waited patiently...the remaining days, until finally the day arrived. The day Hano Academy officially began. As one of the Head Teachers, it was my duty to help bring the school year off to a good start, attending the grand assembly...where all the students would be gathered together for perhaps the one and only time.

The first chimes rang, and I waited patiently in the main hall of the school. All of the teachers were gathered together, we waited now for Able. The students slowly filed in, standing in designated rows...it seemed like they were all under control. There were precautionary measures in place however...just to be safe. Before anyone had arrived, I'd placed a spell on the entire room. Allowing no violence of any sort to take place. I smiled very slightly.

"What's with the arrogant expression Sir Sinclair?" Valla stated as she approached.

"Lady Valla, there is no need to call me by my last name. I have told you this many times, you may call me Raphael if you so wish it." I stated slightly bowing to her in greeting. She seemed a little flushed. I wondered if she was tired perhaps...

"Ahem. Anyhow, it seems things are well. And Able?" She continued.

"He should be here..." I halted. Able emerged from the main halls doors and it fell completely silent as he approached the stage through the middle of the students. "...well look who's shown up." I smiled at Valla, glared back and Roku...just to make sure he was behaving himself, then turned my attention back to Able.

"Good Day to you all! Students of Hano Academy!" Able greeted them all with a huge smile plastered on his face. "I bid you a sincere welcome and dearly hope you all enjoy your time here! Our staff of teachers have gathered for the single purpose of offering you the most excellent of educations here at the prestigious academy of Hano. Please all of you, do your best and learn to embrace ALL Races! For at our establishment, there is no prejudice...only equality."

The students seemed to clap a bit, a couple of the girls cheered him on. I smiled, at least Able was popular with the students already. It must've been that smile of his....

"...now to present one of our Head Teachers, Sir Raphael et Sinclair." Able announced. I snapped out of the slight daze I was falling into, and approached the center of the podium. I was quite shocked to find several girls cheering me on as well...I kept focused however, clearing my throat before beginning.

"Good Day to you all. My name is Raphael et Sinclair. I shall be teaching you World History at this school, and also assisting Ms. Valkyrie with Flight Lessons for the Angels." I began. "It's a great pleasure to formally meet you all, and I look forward to being your teacher. But please understand and follow the rules and conducts of the school at all times. I shall not tolerate any transgressions. That is all." Smiling a tad sadistically, I stepped back for the next teacher's introductions.

After the ceremony was done with, the Angels reported to class, all other students were released to their dorms. And so began my very first class at Hano Academy.

I paced the front of the room, waiting for them all to arrive....

Raphael

I had so much to do before school could begin. I'd gotten a roster of all the students to attend, and was quite surprised by it. It would seem the races truly wanted their children to learn how to "get along" with one another. All this time...perhaps things would start to move in the right direction...towards peace. The only reason I had come here...it was not for some meager teaching job. It was as a favor to my old friend Able. The Headmaster to this school. Hano had been passed down his family for generations, yet there was a time when it was thought it would no longer continue. A time of great strife...of fire...of death and rebirth.

As an angel...I had seen many things in the span of my lifetime. Things that made me smile...things that brought me to tears. Even things I found inconceivable. There were perhaps none who had witnessed the atrocities I had. At times, it made me doubt my faith...it truly did. And yet, the part of me that held true, could never turn away.

I grabbed the stack of papers from my desk, and filed them all away neatly. It was almost nightfall...and I could sense the presence of several others entering the campus. All converging at once...how very odd.

As I exited in the hall, I immediately witnessed a pair of vampires. They were locked in an embrace, and I couldn't help but stare out of curiosity. A girl poked her head out to assess me...her eyes lingering on my right wing for some time...my blackened wing. A small smirk crossed my lips. She was a curious one.

"A Good Evening to the both of you...I see students have begun to arrive already." I paused, considering this all in my mind. "Quite promptly. Commendable." I hadn't realized I'd said that aloud. I valued order above all things...I didn't mean to voice my opinions so frankly though. I'd yet to introduce myself. "Ahem. Yes, My name is Raphael et Sinclair. I am a teacher here at Hano. Well Met."

"Well met, Mister Sinclair. I am Shimei, of the Aoitsuki clan. I look forward to seeing you in class." The Girl Greeted.

"Yes, Good Evening sir." The Boy followed. "I am Shori Benitsuki. Well Met."

I smiled. Yes...very polite. They know their places very well. "Very good. I won't keep you any longer. We all have things to attend to before classes begin. It was a pleasure to have met you both. Do make sure you behave yourselves."

Before they could respond, I left them to their business. Even IF that would be something precarious. Things would have go on their respective paths. I could not stop fate...this is one of the many things I had learned in my vast lifetime.

Walking the school grounds, I inspected the areas for any other straggling students. Perhaps to aid them should they be lost. I doubted any "human" students should be wandering about at night...not here of all places...

I scouted around for quite awhile, and yet, there were no lost students. I could swear I sensed the presence of a demon coming near...

I closed my eyes to lay down a net of energy. In order to find all in the immediate area and to place my own little energy signature on them. This way, I would know where all of them were at all times. It was my duty as a teacher to protect them, this meant knowing their respective locations.

An archaic circle appeared high above the school...and came down slowly. Only another angel would be able to see this, but no matter who or WHAT they were...they could not resist it...or avoid it's purpose. Any and all would have to simply relax and allow it to run it's course. After the spell was completed, I felt all the presences very clearly. They seemed to all be clustered in the same area. No, two were leaving the area. The vampires I had encountered.

A human was in the center of the courtyard, a vampire sat nearby, as well as another presence. An angel...no...a fallen angel. He was so young...to have fallen...but I did not question him. I myself having my faith shattered on more than one instance. Continuing on. Yet another Vampire left the area as I scanned further along. As I thought, a demon was approaching. A demon...and another Human as well. Another vampire approaching was nearly to the main gates.

I opened my eyes and began in the direction of the said demon. They were the fiercest of the races, enemies of angels...I wished to see this demon with my own eyes. To see if they truly came here peaceably. If I discovered they hadn't....

Suddenly as a gust of wind passed, I caught the unmistakable scent of blood. My eyes widened and I fell to my knees. One hand grasping my stomach, and the other clasping my mouth, I tried to fight off the urge to vomit. It was futile...rushing to the nearby brush I let it out...

I hated blood...I could no longer stand the very smell of it. I stood up and tried to regain my composure...

The sky began to cry...the rain sweeping across the entire area in a matter of moments. It was like a monsoon type rain. Washing away everything. I opened the nearest classroom and grabbed an umbrella. I felt better with the rain, ironically...and so I went out into it. Forgetting about the demon for now, I approached the main gates. Standing there quietly until a student ran up to me in a panic. He'd been frightened by one of the teachers...Roku Shinigami. I would have to have a little 'chat' with him about his conduct.

After finding out the student was Clovis Victorian Seliongrave, it only made the situation worse for Roku. I was thoroughly displeased. I informed Mister Seliongrave of just where his quarters were, and then made my way toward the building.

"Wait! I didn't catch your name!" He called out.

"Raphael et Sinclair." I answered without looking back. I was on a mission now...Roku was about to hear a piece of my mind.
