Not too long after Jenny got ready the three joined the rest of the group where Kiki explained what was happening.
“WHAT?! You mean the enemy ended up in the past too?!” Chero cried.
“Wait a minute. Does that mean they were in the same time loop as us? Should we go back and kill them?” Dino asked.
“Y-yeah! Now we are able to fight them. But our past selves might not be able to….And…If someone dies because of that, it could change this reality…” Chero explained.
“If that’s what you are worried about…It’s ok. Don’t worry. I have already killed it.”
“Eh? When?” Mocha asked.
“Unlike Chero and Dino…I ended up in the basement with the enemy. It was already weakened so I easily defeated it.” Jenny explained.
“You wound up in the basement?! …Even so…I am positive there was more than one enemy…We should go back just in case,” Dino said.
“When you two were on the third floor I searched the whole mansion. There was only that one enemy. The second time loop is fine.” Jenny insisted, “I don’t want to go back there…”
“What? You’re still not over it?” Kiki teased, “We need to split into two groups; one to go to the annex and the other to go to the past. Any objections?”
“Oh…so now we are free to choose who will go to the past?” Hime questioned.
“Oh come on! Who do you think I am, Hime? I am a lot stronger now that my watch’s power is back,” Kiki pouted.
“Hmm~ I think I’ll go then!” Francis said.
“I will go as well.” Dante said.
“Oh…Then I am coming with you as well.” Mocha said, “Jenny, what are you going to do?”
“I’ll stay. I want to search the annex…” Jenny crossed her arms.
“Alright. The three of you will go. Come close to me and I’ll send you back,”
Kiki instructed, “Chero, give me the journal.”
Chero nodded and passed it over.
“I will leave the journal with you three. When you are done killing the enemy, open it on the last page and you will come back.” Kiki added, “Make sure you do not interact with your past selves…and do not change the past in any way shape or form. Alright?”
“Yes, ma’am!” Francis mock saluted, “We will be back after we are done killing all of those Steves. Take care~”
The three vanished as Kiki clicked her watch.
“Well…the ones whose weapons are broken should stay here…” Hime said, “And the three who just returned from the past should stay here as well…”
“I’ll go to the annex…” Jenny said,
“…” Chero stared at Jenny, worried.
“Is that so? Well then--” Hime started.
“Wait! I’ll go instead of Hime! That way it’s me, Jenny and Kiki!” Chero insisted.
“Are you strong enough for that?” Kiki teased, “In that case…The three of us will go.”
Chero smiled and giggled, “ Ehehe~ I look forward to fighting alongside you two!”
“Amore…be careful…” Dino said.
“We will!” Chero cheered.
“I want to come with you…But Leonides is trying to mend my sword…Be careful…We left the monster down there when we teleported out of there…” Tsukino lectured.
“I am getting used to fighting. So I can manage! After all I had the two best teachers,” Chero grinned.
“At least it is confirmed that there is one there. Be careful…it can come from any direction…” Danni warned as she watched Dino mess with her gun.
