SS Gift- A Christmas Carol

He turned around and almost showed an emotion of surprise. He kept his face neutral, even though on the inside his heart was pounding. Sitting on the edge of his bed was blonde girl with her hair pulled into a high pony tail, with a piece of her bangs covering one eye. She wore a long and flowy white dress with a red shash.

“Sasuke-kun!” She greeted with a wave.

“What the hell are you doing here?”

“I am the ghost of Christmas past! But you can call me Ino.”

Sasuke stared at her and walked away.

“Wait wait! This is all a part of your spiritual journey! You have to grab onto my red sash as I hold your body to mine!” she said, her eyes sparkling as she floated after him.

“…No.”

“But if you don’t I’ll be fired!” she cried, her eyes filling with ghostly tears.

“….”

Sasuke hated a lot of things. Well…basically everything, but towards the very top of his long list of things he hated…was crying women. He always felt awkward around them and normally made things worse.

“…Fine…” he said, holding his hand out for the sash.

Ino handed him the sash and smiled brightly, “Let’s go!”

The pair floated into the air and traveled fast over all of the buildings.

“Where exactly are we going?” he asked.

“To see your past Christmas’s duh. Did you forget my title, “Ghost of Christmas past”…Ring a bell?” Ino lectured.

“…”

Ino sighed and lowered them down to their first location. It was snowing and they stood outside of an old run down building. Sasuke scowled.

“What the hell are we doing here?”

“Brings back some bad memories? This was your first Christmas in the orphanage after your parents died.” Ino said, “And look at how cute you were!”

A little Sasuke sat praying at the foot of his bed, “And please let Nii-san return from school soon…so he can come and take me home…Amen.”

Sasuke closed his eyes and looked away, “Your Nii-san won’t come back for a few years. So, suck it up kid.”

“He can’t hear you or see you.” Ino said, waving her hand which changed the scene inside.

“Sasuke!” a voice called.

“Nii-san…” an older Sasuke greeted.

He looked probably around 13 now. Itachi poked his brother’s forehead.

“Let’s go home. I came to get you,” Itachi said.

“What the hell took you so long to come home?” Sasuke growled.

“I did my best, Sasuke…But I had to finish school and get a job so I could support you. But you’re coming home now…and we can be a family again.”

“I don’t want to be YOUR family…” young Sasuke tsked.

Sasuke crossed his arms as he watched the scene.

“You seem to have a lot of anger towards your brother…” Ino sighed.

“Wouldn’t you? He abandoned me.”

“He did his best…We need to move on,” Ino said, leading him away.

The next scene they saw was at a party. Sasuke was 17 now and he was dancing with
a beautiful young woman with hair the color of fire.

“Karin…” Sasuke sighed as he watched his younger self happy.

“What happened to her?” Ino asked.

“…I took over my father’s business and got too busy for her,” Sasuke stated.

He wished…He shook his head and watched the couple from the past share a sweet kiss.

“Let’s go,” Sasuke said sternly.

Ino shook her head and led Sasuke back to his room.

“The past is gone and soon the next ghost will arrive. Good luck, Sasuke.”
