Cezoram

Sunset and there was still no word from Kimi. I told her to be careful, so she should have listened. She is very independent, but would she really risk her safety just to prove her point? Well, this is Kimi we’re talking about. No, think. She wouldn’t do that. She hates to cause people worry. If that’s so, then where is she?

I couldn’t stand by the windows any longer; a little voice in my head told me that Kimi was out there somewhere and needed my help.

The problem was, where?

After walking outside in the forest for an hour, I still hadn’t found her. Where could she have gone? She isn’t on any of the paths and she isn’t responding… This isn’t like her. By now, she would have done something to get herself back-

“Cezoram!” Out of the bushes flew up an unusual guest, Lady Patricia. She was a noble ice fairy who was typically really shy. I hadn’t seen her in a while and was just about to ask her if she had seen Kimi when she gave me some troubling news. She had been flying around the river and frosting it over when she saw a person lying by the riverbank. She thought it was just someone taking a nap, but when she went to see if they were okay, “They’re really hurt, Cezoram! And they’re not waking up!”

“I’d love to help but,” I calmly replied. “I’ll need your help to get me to where they are.”
