So we went to see the lightning thief yesturday. I didn't like it. They screwed it up horribelly. It was kind of on the right track at first then it just crashed and burned. It took parts form the second book and put them in that movie. Then the Camp wasn't in the right place. There was supposed to be a hill as the entrence to camp Half blood and then camp was supposed to be like a giant farm. Not in the woods. Also they left out Ares, Mr.D, and Clarries. That's just me you don't have to agree with me if you don't want to but if you haven't seen or read the book yet watch the movie then read the book so you won't be disappointed with the out come.
Today i was inducted into the National Honors Society at my school. I'm so happy. Also i got out of my last three classes because of that. lol well that's all i really have to say about today.
So we had to write a pome for homework so i figured i would post it to see if you guys like it. To tell you the truth it's actually kind of dark. It surpised even me knowing that i could write something like this.
Dancing in the Rain
It was a dark stormy night.
With no light escaping through the deep grey clouds.
Her blue eyes followed the rain drops as they hit the window.
The only sound was the rain beating down.
“It’s that which connects us all.” She whispered to her empty room.
“Just like how the rain connects the earth to the sky.”
She brought her knees to her chest
And laid her head down to rest.
Listening to the soft sound of the rain as it slowly faded away.
Little by little the light broke though the clouds.
The full moon seemed to bring life back to this dark lonely night.
She left her room and went down stairs.
Closing the door quietly behind her.
The girl took a deep breath of the night’s fresh air.
Her light brown hair glistened in the moon light.
But that light soon vanished again as the rain came pouring down.
“I’ve always liked dancing in the rain.”
So today we had open gym for softball and for some reason i keep complaining and saying i don't want to go but i end up going any ways and usually have fun. Any ways we spent most of the time fielding ground balls, one hoppers, and pop flys. I was doing really well and it was a sinch to get the ball across the gym because i'm the center out feilder. That's right i have control over the whole feild. But that's not the point when we ended up playing a accuracy game for the last 15 minuets or so and my team won 5 out of the 7 games we played. I was happy concidering that my team for lacross in gym this morning didn't do too well. Of course Mrs. Butler our gym teacher switched me over to that team because our team seemed to aquire one to many players. That's really all that happened today. I should have fun tomorrow though i have to take all three parts of my History test because i'm not going to be in school on thursday i'm going to be on a feild trip. ;D ttyl
So i had my indoor soccer game today and like usual we lost because we can't seem to get the ball into the net. Anyways today was actually the first time i caught the other goalie after the game in the lobby. She told me that i was really good. Concdering that i made first string all star goalie for the Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties i should be good. But other then that she asked me how old i was. I'm guessing she thought i was in 9th grade or something because of howshort i am. So itold her i was in my junior year of high school and i'm 17. It turns out that she's only a freshmen. It's fun talking to the other team goalie because they know how you feel when people are trying to run you over. Well it was still fun even though we lost, but that's what playing a sport is about right? Sure it would be nice to win one but for now it lets out a lot of my anger if i'm pissed about something before the game. Also it's just fun coming out of the goalie box and knocking people to the ground.
All you really have to is catch me off the feild for me to be nice. Because i'm a very competive and agressive person on the field. I'm really easy to get along with too. You just have to catch me at the right place at the right time. I think i've annoyed you enough for today so ttyl.
