I find myself asking that question a lot.

I would say no buuuut I do understand the feeling. Most of my coworkers are like "oooh wow you sound really nice on the phone your like a whole new person. You are pretty scary otherwise" but hey what can you do. Usually if I'm shy i don't approach people so maybe that is why I seem scary but I don't think you are. ;)

I get the same feeling sometimes. Sometimes I also feel like I'm bothering somebody to ask them a question or something. It goes both ways I think. But in this sense, as Keba says, you're totally approachable, and maybe it's certain people around here. Who knows? Don't let it get to ya. You're among friends.

Many times I have the opposite feeling. I feel like I would bother someone by approaching them, so I try as much as I can not be a nuisance.
Both feelings of course sometimes can only mislead us.

I feel that way, too, sometimes. -_- I don't exactly know the context of what you're talking about, but maybe it's not you. It's THEM.
