In truth, I prefer Jpop because I think Jpop has nany different kind of music that can bring us (sometimes) to our imaginative world :3, and also I listen Kpop but not too much because Some of the Music really make me bored because they Have almost the same tune :3. And for Jpop I love the Voice Much! Especially Image song, sometimes I will scream because the Voice Actors are really into their Characters. That's what make me really like Jpop :3. Kpop also good but I prefer Jpop :3
I prefer Kpop over Jpop, but Jrock wins over these two! I think variety is what makes me prefer Jpop in the end, since there are other music's genders with many rythm and different sounds..

I'm definitely more into KPop nowadays. I usually only listened to a jpop song if it was in an opening but I think it's because kpop advertises a lot to other countries and for jpop I really don't know a lot of groups or what they're up to, who's popular or not. I do listen to the jrock band One Ok Rock. I love them haha. But I'm more into kpop because I eventually got tired of the cutesy jpop music and I got more into Japanese ballads and rock music.
I actually don't really listen to J-Pop anymore (apart from animes openings and endings...) and I am a huge K-Pop fan now so... I'm guessing K-Pop wins for me but my J-Pop phase lasted years and I still LOVE the songs I listened to back then. I also prefer to watch K-Pop MVs because I can dance along and some MVs truly are gorgeous. I wasn't a fan of J-Pop MVs, apart from Tommy Heavenly's ones and more recently Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
All this being said, I think J-Pop has better quality music, it feels like there's more work, you can hear inspirations or when they try to offer something unique. I'm not a musician but it's something my father agrees with so it must be more than just a feeling...? K-Pop, as great as it is, offers more common music, I guess?
My favourite K-Pop bands/singers are: 2NE1, BIGBANG, SHINee, Super Junior, f(x), missA and recently BTS, EXO, MAD CLOWN and Red Velvet. I love Sunny Hill's earlier songs as well.
My favourite J-Pop bands/singers used to be: Asian Kung Fu Generation, Beat Crusaders, Tommy Heavenly/February 6, MONORAL, Utada Hikaru, KOKIA, Anna Tsuchiya and I truly love Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Kalafina for more modern stuff.

it's a little hard to compare these two since they are different genres.
I personally lean a little more to Kpop, but mostly since I love Big Bang!!!
I do like Jrock but I don't listen to it as much.
I would pretty much listen to anything though. :D
Honestly I listen to more J-Pop then K-Pop. It's just that I'm not as familiar with K-Pop. I have listened to some epic K-Pop songs though and while I didn't understand them, I loved them anyway, mostly because of the awesome music and even the song sounded awesome. Favorite K-Pop bands (that I've heard) is one called Beast and EXO? I believe.
But I tend to resonate more with J-Pop. First Japanese artist I've ever heard was Yoko Ishida way back in middle school. I've loved Japanese music ever since and haven't gone back. I absolutely love anime openings and endings. So that's another reason I like J-Pop. And since I've taken some Japense in high school, while I'm not 100 percent fluent I can actually follow along with Japanese songs better now and understand at least the basic theme as I hear words I understand.
Favorute J-Pop artists are (in no particular order: Mami Kawada, KOTOKO, Ayumi Hamasaki, Hikaru Utada, KENN, Nana Mizuki, May'n (there's more but I can't think of them right now)
Favorite J-Pop groups/bands: Choutokkyuu, Arashi, UVERworld
Favorite Anime Opening song (at the moment): Hanate (Unleash) by Gekidan Niagara (Yu-Gi-OH ARC-V Op #3)
personally I like Jpop more! It might be because many animes have jpop endings and openings. that said Kpop is good too! I don't look for music videos of Jpop (I do look for visual kei and jrock). I have a great fondeness for aqua timez and Kalafina!
Never really got into KPop, but I did go through a big Jpop phase a few years back. I love Puffy, and I actually taught myself to play the Teen Titans theme on my guitar. I'm also a big Shonen Knife fan, but they're not really pop.

They're about even? In all honesty, though I'm not a big fan of the pop genre in the first place in any language-- 90% of it sounds the same. The majority of the songs I like are closer to R&B or have something that makes them stand out (like Rin's traditional Japanese instruments).
Some of my favorite artists in J-Pop are Hikaru Utada and Rin'.
Faves in K-pop are SHINee and EXO.
Definitely JPOP. I could never get into KPOP. Each song I try, it's just not to my taste. Might be due to the fact that I listened to JPOP a lot longer and much more but I prefer the sound of the language more too. So honestly, my answers would be JPOP over KPOP for everything (I know that KPOP tends to have large groups and dances but I don't really care for dancing).
Some bands/artists I like are YUI, Kalafina, Fictionjunction, Sound Horizon, TM Revolution, Nana Mizuki, a lot of the utaites, Utada Hikaru... A good amount of the seiyuu since I like character songs haha.
I like K-Pop the best, partly because I prefer the way it sounds. Also, I don't know if Jpop is like this too but Kpop idols do lots of different variety shows so it's interesting to watch them and see their personalities rather than just listening to the music. Some of them even act, so you can end up getting into some really good K-Dramas through Kpop. My favorites are Big Bang, Exo, BTS, and Got7.

I prefer JPop. No particular reason why. I'm just more familiar with certain songs being in anime/video game openings. I'm also able to pick out more words in Japanese than Korean. I like Hikaru Utada but I'm kinda getting into Babymetal now even though its not exactly JPop lol
Personally I like JPop more because it seems more versatile. JPop has lead me to other forms of J-music (if that's what we call it) while its hard for me to find KPop as engaging beyond a single group/unit.
I have a lot of friends who like KPop so don't kill me...

In my personal opinion I like JPop more because I grew up with it. Started liking it even before I liked anime! (Since 2011)
