other than japan and korea, id say the UK

Denmark, Canada or the US-my home country, and two awesome countries in North America that I have lived in before. Belgium is pretty nice but all their manga is in French.
The US and Canada have great anime cons and great selections of online merchandise sites (Amazon.com for example) that are not available in Europe (for the same price).

I like Canada, and wish to visit it one day.

There are a lot of countries that I would like to visit sometime, few of which are Canada(always wanted to visit the home of maples), France(go to Paris), Italy(I really like their food and all)..

I've never been outside of the U.S. but other than Japan I want to travel all over. I like Australia and Scotland best after Japan.

England, France, And i REALLY wanna check out Turkey.

England... it's really rainy there, but back in eighth grade my classes Skyped with a group of kids from England (whom some of us later met on the Europe Field Trip over that next summer). Plus I love the accent... or rather cute British boys on account of their cute accents. *brick'd*

Edit: How could I forget Canada!? OMG if I could go to Canada the first thing I would do is get some Timbits from Tim Hortons and then go see a certain Otaku in English Canada.

Thailand and China...

I love how many people are putting Canada. Canada loves you too, otakus.
I love my country, but I would really love to visit England. Any part of Europe, really.

I'd like to see China. The natural landscapes there are so beautiful, and I want to see the Great Wall!

I want to go to Great Britain because that's where they film Doctor Who and Sherlock. Plus, I've got some English in my blood.

The only other country I've had an interest in besides Japan is Germany. I really want to tour there for the history. c: I've also always liked the language!

South Korea. I'm a huge Kpop fan.

Mine would be England, and its definitely fandom related. Besides Doctor Who, I've spent my life watch a lot of British TV. I'm actually more a fan of their work than Hollywood.

Sorry if this doesn't exactly belong here (tried to tie it in to the topic; after all, I did mention Germany in my first post), but I just found out something awful and I wanted to spread the word.

The German government just took away the children of one German family... because they were HOMESCHOOLING them. This news just tears me up, not only because was I homeschooled from grades 1-12, but also because I'm part German and I like Germany. If any of you can do something, please... the more voices, the better. There's information in the article link about contacting the German embassy.

Greece. Always Greece. Its my home-from-home. In particular, the village of Polichrono.
As for places I've not been to... Hohenschwangau, Reykjavik (To visit some buddies), Vietnam, Poland (To pay homage to my fiance's family who died in Auschwitz), Transylvania.

I was thinking France, Switzerland, quite a few places I'd like to see.

Ooh, Italy's beautiful :D The churches in Europe (but especially in Italy, from what I've seen) are AMAZING ^_^ (Not to mention, there's ARIA the ANIMATION and Katekyo Hitman Reborn! if you're looking for some of my favorite anime tie-ins :D)

Also, I seem to like Ireland; other than the fact that I'm a little bit Irish, I'm not completely sure why I'm attracted to it *shrugs*

Then, I'd have to say the runners up for me are Hungary and Germany, mostly because I'm half Hungarian and then part German. And German food is fantastic :d Overall, though, I'm one of those people who loves an international food festival XD I also love seeing drinks and snack foods from around the globe :D Gets me all interested and excited for some reason :D It's like, "Random mango nectar beverage from Thailand? Yes, please." XD

Thailand. the U.K, and the Nordic countries always grabbed my fancy. China is somewhere I'd want to go to as well.

Well, some of my relatives live in the uk, specifically London, and they say its cool there so that's probably the second country I want to visit.

Yep, you convinced me. Also, everyone should watch Aku no Hana if you're in the mood for something strange. If you have any leeriness regarding disturbing premises and psychologically dark anime, wait until they make the second season, as all will be explained and some closure will be given.

I'm a huge fan of the Republic of Germany for many reasons. I studied German in high school, had great talks with my aunt and her German penpals, and visited the country during a concert tour for my first experience outside of The United States. The trip included the region between the Black Forest in the South to the North Sea in the...you get it. The main destinations were Heidelberg, famous for their architecture and college; Dreilandenpunt, where the countries of Germany, Belguim, and The Netherlands meet; Hohkönigsburg, a castle town that represents the border between Germany and France; and Rudesheim, a Rhine Valley city known for wine and tourism. A few years after the trip, I received my Eagle Scout medal from Boy Scouts. Of the many letters of congratulations I received, one came from the office of Chancellor Merkel. To my knowledge, I am the only Scout in my troop to have a letter from Germany.

While my enjoyment was not directly influence by any fandom, I will concede that Naoki Urasawa's Monster and Attack on Titan take place in the country (I say AoT might take place in Germany if only for the Germanic last names like Jaeger, Arlert, Braun, Lenz, etc.). With Monster being one of my favorite anime I've seen so far, I love when they travel to Heidelberg in the earlier arcs and the geography is spot on, especially the road which runs parallel to the Rhine River.
