I love the ambiance and nuances of scenes outside of racing.
The soundtrack pulls from many different artists, so they never released an official disc. Even though there are several playlists on youtube, it's hard to pin down a complete mix.
SPYAIR has been making some BA songs for Gintama, very fitting if I might add! They're making their third Gintama theme song at the moment (for the movie)~!
"Again" by Yui. The first Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood theme song. REALLY addicting. After I downloaded it, I had that song on repeat for the longest time.
my favorite anime tune would be.... um, "Melody of the wild dance". Bleach opening to the new episodes they show on adult swim. there's just something about the song that makes me wanna dance lol. it's a catchy tune as well. Then there's this old school anime show that opening is so catchy that it sticks in my head every now and then. It's the opening theme song to DIGIMON season 1&2. yes i know, REALLY OLD SCHOOL. I just had to watch the series all over again, i miss watching it.
If I had to state my favorite current song, it's "Feuerroter Pfeil und Bogen" by Linked Horizon from Attack on Titan. Found here. Thus far, the best opening of 2013.
If there's one anime song that I really enjoyed so much that I seriously consider recording my own version of it in the future, it would be "Ame Nochi Niji Iro" by The Loose Dogs. It became the 8th ending song for the anime series "Major".
There are so many good songs in anime it's really hard to only chose one...but I love Yoko Kanno's works! Paradiso from Wolf's Rain is one of my favorites!

I think this is my favourite....... I have learned most of its lyrics by heart...... I feel Nana' s passion....And when I listen to it, I feel that that the passion is shared between her and me...Also,the melody from 2:33 and then becomes much more interesting...Take a look guys

This is really hard to narrow down; I've got a bunch of favorites (the opening and ending themes for Toriko and Kaleido Star come to mind. They've got great music :D)
I'll get a list together and post the links to some of my favorites that people haven't mentioned or posted a link to.
Considering I am a musician, I have to say Yoko Kanno is the beast for three reasons. One, she did the soundtrack for my favorite anime, Cowboy Bebop. Two, her work on Sakamichi no Apollon made me want to join my college's jazz band. Three, I used Tank! as solo material not four hours ago on a tune called Mr. PC. Which is a classic, with my personal favorite recording being the live version from the Souvenir Of Tokyo concert.
For me, it's Mononoke's ED, Natsu no Hana (which is apparently impossible to find on youtube...). Aside from being a beautiful song on its own, it brought such a feeling of closure and relief to the usually chaotic events of the anime.
Man, that's hard. But I'd have to say Abnormalize by Ling Tosite Sigure (from PSYCHO-PASS) is an opening that REALLY stood out for me! I also love the Darker Than Black soundtracks, as well as a lot of the Naruto openings and endings.
There're several OP and ED pieces I like, but for non-J-pop I first must congratulate Evangelion for taking the jazz standard 'Fly Me To The Moon' and making it cool for non-musicians. And Hellsing (the original TV series) has 'Shine' by Mr. Big, who would otherwise only be known for their one-hit wonder from the 80s 'To Be With You'.

Hirasawa Susumu, Yuki Kajiura, Hiroyuki Sawano, and Yoko Kanno are definitely my stand-out composers.
I guess if I had to choose one song as my favorite of all, it's Hiroyuki Sawano's Gundam Unicorn theme.
