DIVINE beloved blood

Camille stepped back. He did not want to touch that… that thing. He wanted to kill it, to murder the product of what happened the week Lucian was away. Lucian must know about this child. Camille wanted to kill them both, that thing that shared his name, and his mother. Blood was rushing to his head. All he could hear was the rushing… Cameron’s voice…

“I’ll suck out your sins and ugliness…”

Could Cameron really do this?

Without knowing, Camille drew his sword. Mother and her sickly delight… that mass of flesh… he wanted to cut it all down, and dispose of it as quickly as possible…

CLANG. His sword came into contact with Lucian’s, and Camille came back to reality.

“What the hell are you doing?!” Lucian snapped. “Are you really so brutal as to cut down an infant, brother?!” Lucian’s voice was sharp with anger. He pushed Camille back, towards the door. “Don’t shy away from your responsibilities, Camille. As you said, ‘nothing can right what you’ve done.’ You did this, now atone for it!!” Lucian was breathing hard and his face was flustered.

“You don’t understand-“Camille started.
“Understand what?” Mother said, her voice just as sharp as Lucian’s. Her anger was feigned. She held the baby to her chest. “That you have just tried to murder your own daughter? She is of your blood, Camille. It is your fault for messing with the girls in town.” Her smile was like that of a predator, sly and deadly.

Camille swallowed. Mother had told Lucian lies. He would never touch that child. He turned and went to his room. He wanted to leave, but knew that woman would not let him. Once up in his room, he curled up into a ball on his bed, facing the window. He did not ever want to move from this spot… because he did not have the courage to die.

“If you don’t want to die, then why not kill them all instead?” Cameron appeared before him on the bed, a satisfied smile on his face.
Camille said nothing. He felt empty; numb.

“I see. She sedated you, and then she rode you herself. That child was born from the forced union of you and your mother. I will give her this; she is quite the woman to be able to dress like she did, even though she had that child earlier.” Cameron reached over and swept his hands through Cameron’s hair. “This must be why your turn to men. You don’t believe in women. You were treated as an expendable son by your mother. You didn’t come looking for me to kill me; you were seeking solice from me. You were running away like a pathetic little worm.” Cameron’s smile grew warm. “I can rid you of these feelings, Camille.”

“…feelings?” Camille repeated slowly. Cameron’s cold touch felt good on his hot skin, so good, he sighed quietly in pleasure.

“Yes. All you have to do is kill them all… all of them… your mother, that child, and your brother. I will take you with me when you do… and you can forget all of this happened. Everything… Forget the words that were spoken…And thoughts erased…Without a trace.” Cameron’s voice was soothing. “Just kill them, Camille. You love the feeling of blood on your hands, do you not? It excites you, doesn’t it? Kill them and I will suck out your sins and your ugliness… come now, burn away these feelings with those hands…

Camille nodded, but it was more to himself than to Cameron. He knew what he had to do. He got up from the bed, his eyes as empty as he felt. He drew his blade, Eli, before he marched out of the room.

Cameron sat up, and moved to the edge of the bed, facing the door. He dangled his legs over the edge of the bed and started kicking back and forth, eagerly awaiting the screams that were sure to come.

“Cenero-sama, are you sure you don’t want to come and listen?” Cameron asked to the air around him. He heard the woman start screaming, and Lucian come rushing into the room. The child was crying loudly, and then it abruptly stopped. “You’re going to miss it if you don’t come soon.”

A man with ash white hair and a matching complexion appeared beside Cameron. The military uniform he wore was as green as his eyes, deep ivy green. He sat down on the bed. He remained silent, listening to the conflict that was happening downstairs.

“I’ve altered Lucian, if you don't mind.” Cameron said. “He’d die too easily in a fight with that beast, and that would be pitiful, don't you think?”

There came no reply.

Cameron continued to swing his legs back and forth. The smell of blood had already drifted up to this room, the scent of blood from that woman and the child were overpowering. Lucian and Camille were still fighting. He could smell blood from both of them; Camille’s smelled delightful, it was deliciously tainted with his raw anger. Cameron licked his lips and turned to Cenero-sama.

The smell of blood was quickly growing stronger.

“Aren’t you proud of your sons?”

I am a sinful voyager who got off the ark... Yes…an eternal sinner...

Ah…don’t all people desire it? Miserable, eternal life…
