DIVINE beloved blood

“Cute. Say, Camille Rossore, would you like to become my pet? I will free the malice and hate deep inside of you. I’ll bite into your sinful neck… your blood burning so crimson, so strongly, so violently, it’s dangerous… I’ll suck out your sins and ugliness…” Cameron said, his voice gentle. He reached out and drew Camille closer to him, cradling his face like he was something that was cherished. “People are all defiant sinners who rock the ark…come now, burn away the loneliness with those hands… come to me, Camille…”

“Let go of me.” Camille managed to say firmly. He was trembling slightly in Cameron’s hands. He swallowed and jerked out of Cameron’s grasp, glaring at Cameron. He drew Eli once again, and held it in front of him as if to shield himself. “...I’m not going to serve a vampire or whatever you are.”

“Oh? Then come, cut me down.” Cameron stood, an amused smile spreading over his face. He beckoned to Camille, eyes flashing. “Come now, Camille.”
Camille did as he was told, despite every bone in his body trying to hold him back. Obedience was not one of his best attributes; he hated being told what to do. He struck at Cameron with the force of his anger.

Blood sprayed out, onto both men (eh? Boys to Men?) and onto the floor. Cameron’s arm hung to his shoulder by a few raw, slick red muscles. It dangled uselessly beside him, but Cameron was still smiling that infuriating smile. “If you want to cut me again, then cut me. Hit me, beat me; it will not bother me in the least. Do whatever makes you feel ‘better’.”

Camille said nothing. He felt his temper rise and started to punch Cameron relentlessly. Camille hadn’t realized it before, but he wondered where the blood was coming from. Why hadn’t it come out when he’d stabbed the vampire or… whatever in the chest? That was fairly disappointing. Now Cameron’s blood covered his hands in its sanguine liquid heat. This is what Camille loved the most about being a hunter. The feeling of blood… it always excited him, and at the same time, it calmed him down.

Cameron didn’t struggle, not once. He just stood there and let Camille pound away on this body, until Camille stopped, breathing hard. His hands were wrapped around Cameron’s neck; he’d pinned Cameron to the floor with his body. He’d finally stopped squeezing.

“Are you finished, Camille?” Cameron asked with a smirk, reaching up to caress
Camille’s cheek. His eyes were soft. There were no bruises on his face, only deep red blood, streaked across his skin. The contrast of it was striking… alluring…

Camille stared down at Cameron for a few moments. Then, still holding Cameron by the neck, he stood, and slammed Cameron into the wall. Camille pressed his lips to Cameron’s in a rough kiss.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Cameron asked, pushing Camille off. His arm had healed from its previous detached state. He reached up and took Camille’s hands off his neck, and stepped down onto the floor. “I did not say it was time for sweet nothings and dirty actions. I had no idea you had a preference for men, or…” He reached up and held Camille’s face in his hands gently. His voice was just as gentle as his touch. Cameron’s smile had turned pitiful as he gazed at Camille. “…are you this way because of your mother?”
Camille remained silent. He looked away from Cameron’s sympathetic stare. His hands were balled into tight fists. Anger pounded through his body as if it were blood.

“Ah… I see you do not believe that your mother-“

“I don’t need your sympathy, demon.” Camille’s voice was cold and sharp like his blade.

“Hmm, a ‘demon’, am I?” Cameron chuckled, dropping his hands so they fell to his sides. “Who has the blood on their hands? You hunters are all the same in your beliefs. I do not ally myself with the vampires, but I too, am being hunted as they are. I was not disturbing anyone in my slumber, yet you- like the rest of the swine- came into my manor and attempted to murder me. I have done nothing to your filthy little human village. The only reason I have not killed you is because you are tainted by blood. Your body is covered in it.” Cameron’s eyes were dark and seductive. “I have not met a human like you in all the years I’ve lived. To be honest, I find it very appealing.”

“Then what are you going to do to me? If you simply let me live, I will chase you and find a way to kill you.” Camille said, a predatory smile crossing his face. “You will suffer.”

“Hmm.” Cameron laughed softly. He reached up again and tousled Camille’s hair. “I will tell you something about your brother, then. He is hiding something from you.”

“I don’t care.” Camille said simply. He was annoyed that Cameron had ignored his question. “If Lucian wants to hide, let him.”

“Silly Camille,” Cameron said with another laugh, tousling Camille’s hair again. “This will affect your ‘mission’. I just want to help you. After all, what master does not wish to see their loyal servant succeed?”

Camille doubted that very seriously. “Ha! Who said I would serve the likes of you?!” He snapped, slapping Cameron’s hand away. “I told you before, I will not serve you. I do not serve under anyone.”

Cameron smiled. He loved those eyes. They were burning with a kind of viciousness that you only saw in animals. They burned in a way that made Cameron want to pluck them out and keep them for himself. “Yes, you are a wild beast…” His voice was gentle. “But, underneath the storm of rage and menace inside you… your eyes are begging for me to tame you.”
Camille scoffed.
