Yes, another one with Azumi/Adumi (which is it? ^^;) Tohru's art. This time...it's a really cool elf guy. XD He's from one of her art books that I found on aethereality again. Umm...how it ended up to be a battle of words, I don't know, but I think it's kinda cool...hopefully others do, too. I gave up on a Loveless wallpaper I was doing...cause it was a total failure...so I just made this one instead. I didn't want to bother with extracting him (would've been a major pain with his hair) so instead I cut him out around his edges, to give him that paper cutout look. And, well, in the bg of the original scan, there are words...so I played off of that idea to create what I did. Brushwork and more brushwork. Different effects...and that's basically it. Lots of layers. Some sparklies but mainly text brushes. Errr...I really didn't do anything to him, mainly just worked on the bg. Then came the title...I already had that dark brown strip on the side, and somehow I decided to put the title there. ^^; Does it look ok? "Don't underestimate the power of words." Oh, and yes,lots of browns again. I've been in a mute/dark/tan/brown color mood lately, as you may have noticed with my wallpapers. Took 40 minutes or so to do. I hope you like it!
