Ideas for couples inside

My DH and I have been together for 12 years and I am always looking for new spandex bodysuit ideas so I know there are other people interested as well. So, here I go with ideas given what we’ve dressed as in the past. I can’t remember a few years right now I guess… Tricks the rabbit/serial killer. He had not yet ‘killed me’ (I made both) Angel/Evil (put together with bought costumes) Clowns (bought full body suit, did makeup) Devil/Grim Reaper (put together) Pirate/Treasure ‘Chest’ (I made both)
6. Queen of Hearts/Joker (I made both) Wonder bread Woman/Buzz Light beer (I made both)
This year I’m thinking he’s going to be Mr. Moneybags and me a Gold digger. I have an idea of how I’m going to put them together but I’d love original ideas! Or any other couple ideas… If you have any questions about the outfits I made just let me know! We pretty much won a contest/money every year. I know most of you start making them way earlier than now, I’m getting a late start.

We went as Rosemary and The Devil one year. I wore a pink housecoat and fuzzy pink slippers (man, I was so comfortable). He wore this swanky devil outfit that looked like a 1970′s Staying Alive disco jumpsuit, then added red make-up, horns, and goatee. And then he added extra *ahem* padding. This year we thought about doing Captain Hooker and Tinker Dale. Hmmm…. for the Gold Digger, maybe some sort of sexy miner outfit – I’m thinking along the lines of every Ozark girl you see in cartoons where it’s the short little shorts and like a little top underneath. You could even do up your hair in pigtails. Be sure to carry a shovel.

How to make up the Freddy costume

I am planning on being Freddy Krueger for Halloween this year but I am currently overweight. I am on a diet however and trying to lose weight for many reasons. The Freddy zentai suit is one of them, but in the event that I don’t lose the weight I want to lose in time for Halloween, I decided I should have a back up costume. I really don’t want to disgrace the name of Freddy by dressing as him and being chubby. I don’t want people going around, saying to each other when they see me as Freddy, “Wow, Freddy got fat” or something along those lines. Of course, Halloween is seven+ months away so I am hoping I will be skinny enough by then.
If I’m not however, I am thinking about being a zombie instead. The great thing about being a zombie is that anyone of any age, race, gender, height or size can be a Zombie. Wearing a purple zentai is not even required if you don’t want. You can just wear your regular clothes. So does anyone know of a site that sells zombie make-up? I rather wear make-up then a mask and I’d like to wear the Hollywood type of make-up. I have been looking online for some but have found nothing.

If you want a real movie make-up, I have to say Skin Illustrator is my favorite. It’s an alcohol activated make-up, sort of like painting with water color cakes, but with alcohol so it dries fast and looks great for a long time. It’s been used in several films. The down side is the price, but a little goes a long way… I have heard that Matthew Mangle is making a very similar product at a lower price, I think Thea carries it. I’ve heard very good things about it and I’ll give it a try when my Skin Illustrators finally run out.

You could go as characters

You could go for the Sanderson sisters and Billy… I was thinking about it but the way I am it’s going to have to be next year unless i can come up with the full body spandex to make what I want. (which would be as close as possible without buying the actual costume from the movie.) There was also this guy who did a music video (oh I am kicking myself for not remember the song or the guy) but the women were dressed in plain but nice black dresses, their hair all up in buns, make up the same and heels playing musical instruments and the guy was in a green zentai.
Could go as would nymphs and puck with his pan pipe or you could go as characters from Peter Pan… Pan and the women that adored him Tinkerbelle, Wendy, and Tiger Lily. Dracula and his three brides. You could go as Girls: Janet Wise, Magenta, and Columbia from Rocky Horror Picture Show (RHPS). GUY: (Either) Franken Furter, Riff Raff, Eddie, Dr. Scott, Rocky, or Brad (RHPS). A priest and three nuns. The Three Witches and MacBeth: If this is done I would suggest having the three witches as the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone aspect.

the only trouble with being Tony Orlando and Dawn is that there were only two girls. My mom suggested Josie and the Pussycats (from the original 1970s show) and the guy could be either Alex or Alan. She also suggested going as the Supremes and their mananger. the trouble with most movies/tv shows/ whatever, is that they are more male heavy than female. I think it all goes back to women not being allowed to act in early theatre history. Here’s an idea! all of you go as Disney villains.
Girls: Snow White’s Stepmother, Cinderella’s Stepmother, Melefiscent, Ursula, Cruella DeVille
Boys: Jafar, Capitain Hook, Hades, that huge satan thing on top of the moutain in Fantasia, Gaston, Stumboli (from Pinnochio), The Horned King (frome the Black Cauldron) Ratcliffe (from Pocahontas), Claude Frollo (from The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Clayton (from Tarzan).
That’s all I can come up with (that are humanoid) right off-hand as far a villians go. Mom also suggested the Three Witches of Eastwick and Jack Nicholson.

What costume are you wearing for Halloween

What full body spandex are you planning on wearing for Halloween? What are you going to do with a hearse? I was given one last summer, a 1957 Cadillac, the scariest thing about it was the guy’s ex-wife’s name on the title! All it cost me was $117.00 to get it hauled by truck (a big truck) to my place from Iowa, about 50 miles. Now I have a driver behind the wheel and little skeletons hanging on the back of his seat with cartoon bubbles saying “Are we there yet?” I have a light blue flood light inside the car and a green light behind the grill with a sound-maker I built that sort of sounds like the engine is trying to start(when I push a button inside of the house)it scares a lot of people.

I was looking at the blaze-orange hunter zentai bodysuit in Wally-Mart today, thinking of making a “Deer hunter” costume, of course I have to first make a deer head to wear, then come the orange clothes, all ragged and bloody, my little hooves will be carrying a big gun of course, I would be making that too, a gun so preposterous that nobody could think for a heartbeat that it was a real gun (cartoonish, large)This county is usually second in deer kills . The first place county is our northern bordering county, so all the deer are HERE in the whole state of Illinois! Corn-fed too! Poor little cuties! I could never kill one, unless I was in the tavern and got into a fight with it after it said terrible untrue things about my sister!

I thought this year I would go for an ice queen, seeing this entire icicle and crystal-type x-mas stuff is getting my imagination going: “how can I incorporate this into Halloween…” I have blond straight hair down to my , thought I’d try to get it white, elaborate crystal headdress, white cape dress, frozen face crystals fx, white out eyes.

When you are watching your budget this Halloween, don’t fear that there may not be enough Batman Halloween blue zentai options for you. Costume makers have created a standard costume that contains a body suit that looks similar to the original Batman armor. If you want to take it a step further costume makers created foam muscle inserts that can add to your Batman Halloween purple zentai look. Unlike the officially licensed version, both of these are available in adult and children sizes.

They also have the traditional half foot top and under the foot strap, but separate boot tops would have looked so much better! I borrowed my wife’s from the Bat Girl costume, since they were too large for her. Hood/cape – nice look, but I have to cut the eyes out a bit more, or become cross eyed. Breastplate/shirt combo. Here is where it would be really easy to improve the fit. I think its too bad they don’t have this as a separate shirt and a strap on breast armor. I tried to pin the sides of the armor to pull it more snugly around me, but the pins didn’t stay, and I got a few poke injuries. I think I will cut the armor free, and then add grommets around the edges. The costume was very hot (it was about 80 here for Halloween). But it did look kind of cool.
