That might get ya banned depending on how much of your characters you expose. Though, I'm fairly sure you could submit something like "this" and get away with it. I've seen people submit pieces with "hair" on here without getting banned if ya know what I mean.
I think, it's more about how active you are, too. I notice a lot of people who get lots of comments or activity post something almost everyday... I'm not the type of person to do that. ^^;
Oh well. I agree, the site's less active than it was in the past...
