It's mostly 'boxed' communities around here. It's so funny! People will buy a $700,000 house, but it's less than 10 feet from the house next to them. haha It's the land that is really expensive, I guess. my hubby and I want a bit of land eventaully. We'll just have to stay in our row house for now.
Yeah, we don't live in the nicest area of town either. But, sometimes the nicer areas can be boring, and from what I've gathered, some of them are snobbish. XDDD At least, where an ex-friend of mine lives, in a nicer area of town.
The parents moved me to MD, :/ Then I moved to the Baltimore area after I met my hubby. It's not all bad, but I can't afford to live in the nicer areas.
How'd you end up there?
I know my b/f has to go to Seattle for four years to complete his medical school, but that's not for another two and a half years. And, I'd like to go with him... But, I believe we plan to return here, since we've both grown up here and our family lives here as well. ^_^
