Good songs to practice high notes in are like
"Sweet Sacrifice" and "The Only One" by Evanescence. Those are my favorite. Especially The Only One xD
I love doing that note in the chorus x3x
And, dairy is actually pretty bad for you if you wanna sing.

Well, for me, what I did was basically, when I sang I'd sing a note that was comfortable to me, and then I'd eventually try singing a little higher and then a little higher. I can actually sing really high. Before I started singing every day, I had issues with it. I strained my throat and voice and it cracked. But I just sang a little higher every time I sang. And it helped. Don't do anything that hurts your throat or anything. That's not good.
I drink lots of water, and it's also best to warm up your voice some first too. For me, I just sing "Me me me me me meeeeeee" in a normal pitch - not high, or low. I've also read that it helps to TALK higher than you normally, do, too but I'd feel silly doing that xD
Sorry if I'm not helping. I've never been given real professional singing advice. I'm only speaking from experience. I would look up and read a lot on the internet, too c:

And how on earth to you widen your range? Is it even possible? I mean, high notes are almost impossible for me. BC
Good. Then don't think ya do either.
You're being hard on yourself. Practice lots. Work on your range and carrying out notes and stuff. Sing as often as you can and you'll be a great singer. If you wanna sing, sing. Don't let your own self-doubt stop you! Your doubting yourself should be motivation to try and get better!!!!
