Sounds like a cover story on a novel more than it does an introduction or a first chapter. If you keep working on it, it will turn out great. I'm attempting again to write my own book. It may not be a manga or anything like that, yet I'm going to keep pressing on and go from there. If your heart is in the right place, it should be just fine.
