Gathering dust...

I don't respond to a lot of my comments...sorry. I love them and am so grateful to receive them, but I usually only respond when I have something interesting to say. :/
So sorry if I offended anyone with this habit of mine. ;___;

Nostalgia cosplay

I've been cosplaying since eighth grade (currently a college sophomore) and I've done characters from FF7, Hetalia, .hack//GU, Odin Sphere, One Piece, Tiger & Bunny, Vampire Knight, Kuroshitsuji, and probably a couple more.

Yet I've never worn an Inuyasha cosplay to a con, which is strange since it's the series that got me into anime in the first place and the passion has never totally died (as you can see from my fanart gallery...)

I've more or less decided that I HAVE to cosplay at least one character from this series, but choosing is so difficult.

Inuyasha:
- Well. Um, he's adorable, and definitely the one I'm most emotionally attached to.
- I love his look in the Togenkyou arc, where he's in human form and missing the outer jacket.
- Could probably persuade my friend to come as Kagome.
- We basically have the same eyebrows and I don't have to fuss around with contacts.
- I guess I'd have to make Tessaiga, urgh.

Kikyou:
- What a badass, like damnnnn. She is the reason I do archery.
- Do I have to hand-make a bow or something. .___.

Sesshoumaru:
- Hands down most difficult annoying fucking outfit in the whole series.
- Hands down most unreasonably GORGEOUS design in the whole series.
- Convenient fluffy thing to take naps in.
- Could convince friend to come as Rin.

Naraku:
- I feel obligated to do this since his pre-Hakurei costumes are pretty simple and we have the same hair. Seriously, the exact same hair.

Sango:
- Omg Sango why u so perf, this lady is my queen 100%
- Ehhh, making armor might be annoying.
- Making Hiraikotsu would be buttloads of fun.
- I get to have my own Hiraikotsu, two thumbs up
- Again, no significant changes to hair, minimal makeup.

Jakotsu:
- Great lightweight costume for California weather
- I get to creep in-character eheheheheh

Re: Commissions!

Formally reopened, all the info is on my etsy site here: Pay me a visit!

College

Hi, guys!

Today is my first day of classes at Cornell University, and things are going well so far. :)

I'm still getting settled in and things are a bit hectic, but I've got art and a page or two of Guardian Angel to post. Just letting everyone know that I will get to it. BELIEVE IN ME WHO BELIEVES IN YOU.

So since there actually isn't much for me to say in this post unless I start rambling about college life, here's a quick portrait I did for practice a few days ago.

Something new

I'm thinking of drawing a more experimental comic (maybe a few pages of GA) where there aren't any panels.

Since events aren't really distinct, there shouldn't be such precise distintions between them. I want to capture a more cause-and-effect feeling.

Most likely it'll be a miniseries of about five or ten pages so I can fit the style to a theme...
