i know your pain timechader it dos seem a little bleak this year but come November-ish time all that will end! we have got the torchwood spectacular to look foreword to and a new season of sja between naw and then !!
it was just that you had the hole season one Daleks season two cybermen season three the master.......... i just felt a little left out fore them because people often forget them which is a shame really.
not having a dig at u at all man! your doing a fine job!!!
Well... I probably should have included a continuity link for the Project Indigo bit, but I didn't think of it since I'd already reviewed the Sontaran 2-parter. I didn't mention the Macra or Autons because they do not factor into this story. I have yet to review Seasons 1 - 3 since I created this world only as Season 4 started, but I'll get around to them eventually. Right now with the extreme lack of Doctor Who this year, I'm kind of on an ebb of it, my interest has waned slightly.
Good review but a few other things you missed in the returning monsters and villains, most obviously the sontarans but also the macra and the Autons (seasons 4, 3 and 1 respectively) sorry fore being
pedantic but as Calaya said "We British export so little"
And they are three fantastic monsters!
Well you gotta let me poke my nose in now and then. We British export so little I have this desperate urge to contribute when we do....and getting people to enjoy Doctor Who is easier than Marmite.
Yeah, I knew about those things, I wasn't sure how to fit them in though. The Gwen Cooper connection felt like continuity overload. And we're not sure yet if Mickey will be in Torchwood or not.
There is also the Cooper clan being refered to. The Doctor asks Gwen about how far back her family goes and when she replies quite far the Doctor and Rose smile like a pair of prats. If I recall rightly, during Chris Eccelston's time as Time Lord, he and Rose do go back to Victorian Cardiff and the actress who plays Gwen also played Gwyneth in The Unquiet Dead.

@Calaya:
I'll slip the bit about Gweneth/Gwen when I got to a review of The Unquiet Dead. ^^
We have a small British exports store in the old downtown section. I've had Jelly Babies and McVitty's Chocolate Hobnobs. ^^
