^^ I love the little program. It is all I use, though I use paint on occasions when GIMP just won't do what I need. Sometimes you have to use the basics. ^^

GIMP. I had to use that for a short time after we moved...and we didn't have my comp set up that has photoshop, so I had to use my laptop and download it. I never understood it. To me, it looks nothing like photoshop, and I had no clue how to do anything. XD I had no idea how to work with layers [somehow everything always flattened...] or text or effects, lol. So yeah, I'm glad I have my photoshop. XD Which I got somewhat illegally but totally not for free online. Thanks to a friend. Hahaa...

But yeah, you'll get used to it. If that's all you end up using, then you'll definitely grow accustomed, and you can find tutorials. ^^ Aw, you liked paint? Lol, I haven't used that in many many years...but hey, just use whatever you like! ^_^
