Yeah, he is very unexpected when you hear it for the first time. But it's just right for the music.

I thought for a moment that I had walked into some ritzy jive bar. Cigarette smoke hazing the air, shifty eyed patrons, the lone figure at the bar beckoning me to sit next to her. I swagger to the bar, order "the usual", I look my temptress over. She is wearing a vibrant red, figure hugging dress; her dark hair long and flowing, strands draped over her deep brown, searching eyes. She takes my cigarette case from me and asks for a light.

I liked it, had that sort of jivey-ish quality to it...Though if I wasn't watching, I'd probably think the singer was a woman. Just sayin'.
