A lot of the CG is from the game remakes for more modern systems, like 4, 6, and stuff. The game is still the same, but they added CG cutscenes and stuff in between parts.
Also, Final Fantasy Dissidia, the fighting game. I'm pretty sure they picked from that quite a bit as well.
