If you've never seen Good Eats, you should give it a try if you can. It's a fun show, you learn to cook and get entertained at the same time. ^^ Like Alton said in the recent 10th Anniversary special, he wanted it to be a combination of Julia Child, Mr. Wizard and Monty Python. :P

Mmm... haggis. Good Eats, Colbert, and Mythbusters are the only US shows I watch...
