...I don't like staying up beyond one o'clock in the morning myself. ^^; I will admit though that I do "play out" whatever my imagination comes up with before I go to bed.
Looking back I think I missed a couple steps like: Find great fanart, Use great fanart for computer's background, stare aimlessly at great fanart background at 4 AM when in a rut.

Of course, another way to help write fanfictions is to be totally disgusted with crappy sequals to the series in question. TTwTT (*looks at the second Little Mermaid and sticks out tongue*)
