Willow Mills was born to a Maori father and an Australian mother and has a younger sister named Darla, although her father wanted a son; thankfully growing up in Richmond Common, Willow wanted nothing to do with anything feminine much to her mother's disappointment, in fact throughout out her childhood, her natural curiosity for mechanics combined with an absurdly high IQ of 205 meant she was building full skateboards and bikes by the age of six, at ten years old she met Dave Dreamer and joined the Dreamers, although she reluctantly went to St Grace Girls Academy for her secondary school years, she was still able to keep up a masculine enough appearance right up to sixteen, although most people figured out Willow's gender already, Cerulean Wizard even giving her an ultimatum by saying, "we won't kick you out but if it becomes too difficult to hide, you owe it to us to come clean"
That day would never come.
Despite years of delinquent behavior, her idea of just perfecting all her tests and ignoring lessons just to get by backfired when the BWI took her in for her college years, it was shortly after the Dreamers defeated the Montfort beast, her jewel awakened inside her giving her sharp Topaz eyes, she was a Jewel Maiden, and the BWI wanted to help her mature it.
Despite not wanting to go, her mother made a deal with her, "attend the BWI college and you can have the freedom to choose to be anything you want" Willow wanted to be a mechanic but it meant two years of torture in some hoity-toity Princess Academy.
The experience wasn't so bad, she met her only female friend in the equally smart Tabitha Travers and graduated as a full Jewel Maiden complete with debutante ball. "THOSE PICTURES MUST NEVER BEEN SEEN!" Willow never wants the Dreamers to see her like that.
A few years training under the legendary racer "The Silence", Willow along with Tabitha joined the Sonic Youth race team as it's chief mechanic, sporting a Maori tattoo as is tradition in her family of the Swallow, said to be her reincarnation in the next life.
She long held a fear that she would inherit her mother's impressive figure, a long running joke in the neighborhood was that Willow had the hottest mother, which Willow didn't like, not because of embarrassment but she would potentially turn into that, thankfully her sister inherited those genes instead.
"Dave? Dave! My eyes are up here" Willow shouts clicking her fingers.
Dave shook his head.
"I think you need to understand what really happens on the Metro" Willow jumped in her car and had Dave follow.
