"This race will take a while so let's chat a bit" Jansen throwing Dave a soda.
Dave Dreamer was no doubt a very talented driver but his tendency to get himself into strange situations didn't exactly give him the best reputation; he lacks the popularity of drivers like Music Monk and Cerulean Wizard but he's the only male driver to defeat a Metro Queen, defeating the Goddess of Victory Ramona Helkin, which got him invited into her team.
"Except getting that much attention from arguably the hottest milf in Bayside will make you a target" Jansen pointed out.
"The Helkins have hundreds of cars that I can drive any time, why leave that comfort?" Dave asked.
"That's the thing Dreamer, you've been cruising on easy mode while the rest of us work for our cars, although I agree that arguing with Ramona is nigh impossible" Jansen knew Ramona's reputation.
"Believe me I've tried but she's just too persuasive, I also suspect she wants me to marry her daughter but me and Zoe don't get along" Dave explained.
After another drink, Jansen asked another question.
"Weren't you part of the Dreamers? What happened to that group?"
"Those were the good ol days, going on adventures, fighting the Montfort beast, we were supposed to all enter the Metro together but we disbanded the team after graduation" Dave reminisced.
Dave remembered that one of the Dreamers went to a different school named Willow.
"Well you can always start your independence by hiring a mechanic, most if not all the top racers have one" Jansen says bringing up a list.
If by mere coincidence or sheer dumb luck, Willow was the first name on the list, part of the Sonic Youth racing team.
Dave still had Willow's number and sent a request.
"Wow, Dave Dreamer? Been a while, sure I can be your mechanic, I'm not far from your location, give me ten minutes" text replied.
"This is going to great, Willow made some of the best skater and bike kit going, without his custom builds, we would've lost against the Montfort Beast, now he's a mechanic, were going to be unstoppable" Dave watched a white custom Honda Civic turn up but then a look of shock and awe when stepping out was a hot woman.
After an awkward pause.
"Willow, how long have you been a woman?" Dave asked
"Since the day I was born. WAIT YOU DIDN'T KNOW!?!?" Willow shouted
Jansen slipped away from the awkward reunion and drove off.
Dave was frantically typing on Whatsapp.
Dave Dreamer: Guys! Willow is a girl!
Cerulean Wizard: Yeah we already know
